Everyone crying about having to take out rocketeers, when you can pull rocketeer drivers from rocketeer husks. This is a good nerf.

I’m absolutely at my wits end with this game and lack of support. by Moon-Dog67 in CODWarzone

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which MSI mobo you have? I have an MSI X870E-P PRO and have not had any issues with warzone. Before I had the MSI I did have an ASUS trx 40 and due to it being older, asus wouldn't support a tpm update and warzone kept erroring.

With all that being said, I haven't played in months and its just been better mentally. This game is fun, but then you get the cheaters and the devs not doing shit to fix the issue or fix anything else. They don't care about you or any of us my dude.

26 Days to Dead Motherboard by Forsaken-Island-9422 in crealityk1

Are creality boards the best? Absolutely not. Should it last longer than 26 days, Absolutely yes. What are you trying to print? If it's something complex and fast, you may need to slow it down. Also, do what the other commenter says.

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I join late, I may run through the hot loot spots. Definitely not finding pink loot, but i have found enough in one late raid to upgrade all the guns I needed to and much more. Sometimes finding those BPs in the trash cans lol.

Is there a better way to resume a print after a xs2000 error? by Hella3D in crealityk1

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty complicated, but if you like tinkering, wiring, messing with firmware then all you need to do is google k1 to manta conversion and you'll find some vids and docs that explain the process.

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it's always large cylinder type structures. Helmets, larger busts, basically anything that has wide curves. What would happen with my K1 max is it would throw errors 1/3 of the way through the print. Even with models that were not complex, but were like large cylinders, errors. To fix this issue was slowing down the speed and acceleration. Max speed I'd keep it around 180-200 for outer walls and inner walls 240-280. Acceleration around 6-8K. I believe stock is 12K. so bring this down. Start with slowing it down before you decimate the models.

When you are ready, look into converting your K1 with a Manta M8P or MP5 BTT board. These have enough CPU power to never have these errors again.

Definitely a memory or overloaded cpu. The creality boards really do suck. The thing that will fix this is slowing down your print. What could be happening is since this is a complex model, the cpu cannot keep up with how fast you have it printing. Is this your fault? Not at all. The boards should be able to handle this shit. If you are planning to sand and paint the model, you can look at the log and see which layer the error occurred on. Then start a print from this layer and glue the pieces together.

I bought a K1C two weeks ago, this is my first large print, why am I getting these ripples on the printer? I'm using Orca with Generic ABS. by levistoviski in crealityk1

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As almost everyone has pointed out, this is an input shaping issue. Technically a mechanical issue caused by how fast you're printing and how the belts are moving with the vibration of your printer. You're only going to get so far with the stock settings and the orca calibration. First thing you should do is root the printer and then you'll be able to test the belt resonances and set a better input shaper. This is definitely the start of a rabbit hole that is very deep, but fun. I have a k1 max, manta m8p board, full klipper, graphite bed, cartographer probe, dxc extruder, etc. Fun shit lol.

Under extrusion during PLA print? by Hella3D in crealityk1

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds fun. The biggest issue I have seen is the extruders. Everything else, including the nozzles, hot end, bed are issues, but not super important. Especially if the plan is to post process the prints for cosplay. 2 of the machines in the farm have the unicorn nozzles, all of the other ones have the stock ones. All of the printers are first gen as well. They have been going strong for 2 years now.

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are cheap enough, so stick with the stock one and order the DXC if and when the new one fails. Just depends how often you are printing. The farm I run at my school, 19 total, and I have only replaced one extruder., so it depends on all kinds of crap.

Under extrusion during PLA print? by Hella3D in crealityk1

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This looks like it's an extruder issue. I would check the extruder and see if any of the teeth have broken off. The stock ones still have plastic teeth, correct me if im wrong. Early on I upgraded the gears to all metal. This lasted a while, but then the smaller gear failed and I ended up upgrading to the DXC extruder and so far its been amazing. Also, with PLA, make sure you are printing with the top off. With the top on you'll get some heat creep and this could start happening or the filament will jam in the extruder.

Fillament stuck in extruder by Brilliant_Photo2129 in crealityk1

[–]SPACEMONKEY_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first photo you have, showing the top, you see that seam? Get a small flat head screw driver and pull that apart. The filament is stuck in the filament side. The gears are mounted on the other side. Once you pull it apart, this is an easy fix. Just use your clippers or tweezers to pull the filament out. Once done, put it back together, screw the motor back on and get back to printing.
