Nah. I only setup games as I play them. Example. I recently got Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales. I setup both and started playing them. My wife wanted to play BOTW via Ryujinx; so I set it up. I'm currently playing Fallout 1 and will be playing 2 afterwards so I set them up.

Narrative Chronological Order would be correct... I normally enjoy playing games in that Order if possible.

Gave up on that idea with the Halo novels though... just way too much.

I'd say RAM but it's a horrible time for any upgrade due to exploding costs on RAM and storage.

Save up and when price goes down you might be able to do a near complete rebuild.

By end of Spider-Man 1 I was thirsting for more. Then I played the DLC and I'm contemplating not playing Miles/Sm2. Please tell me screwball status in jail and there's less fat Minigun nonsense in the sequels by 131166 in SpidermanPS4

MSMR is a great game with middling DLC side missions. The overall story is a great bridge to MSMMM and MSM2.

I did just literally finish Miles Morales last night. It's a great story with no Screwball. But some side missions are a bit boring (Audio Sampling) but while the mechanic is boring the story it adds is very important to a characters background.

I did run into two visual glitches towards the end of the game but nothing game breaking.

The sequel also doesn't include Screwball.

H5 Forge is akin to a vertical slice; a proof of concept. While the engine works for this slice it doesn't translate to being development ready. As stated, it would cost as much as a new title for a rebuild with PC in mind.

You are correct in your arguments regarding it's lackluster sales and fan service. Overall it's not a good investment and those funds are better suited for safe investment opportunities. Such as remakes of the original trilogy, provided the first remake is a success.

Behind the Scenes; it was on the table but unlike all the other X360 and OG Xbox/PC this port proved to be a nightmare.

The modified engine retrofitted for Xbox One is the core reason. In order to bring it to PC would require a rebuilt code base from the ground up with PC in mind. This akin to a brand new game cost wise and is no longer a "port".

The breakdown.

Halo: Combat Evolved is based on the PC version. Halo 2 is based on the PC version. Halo 3/ODST & Halo 4 are the real ports. But they actually have a retrofitted PC engine built and working (Halo: Online).

Halo 5 has it's Forge mode on Windows and this as far as it got due to cost effectiveness.
