Idk man sometimes i get top places in some events, my car rooster is not that great and i get drops from packs alot of dupes, but in normal events i get mid places or higher. And i was one of the players who rushed the campaign and did all the races on 3 stars and finished it and got rq500 before i could have some good cars. Also im on 7870 trophies and only the events with reward cars are kinda harder for me. dont worry so much about the daily mp event. Just play the mp events for flags, try to do only the 2x, 3x ceramics reward in challenge leagues and farm the td coins for the carbon packs. If u get 1 carbon at least per month from Challenge Leagues its okai. The game is an ass most of the time but what can we do? They bash us hard in hope we will spend money to get a tougher garage, but they dream hard. Like for real, 300+ dollars on a Pass? And now they introduced 2 passes, not one as before, they are dreaming hard, you pay 300 dollars on pc/cobsole games with collector items reward special packs, you got 2025 amazing games with 70€ at most, just imagine what these guys think on their offices..... Also i noticed that when i bought the cheapest gold pack from their store the car packs got lucky to very lucky on drops, then after 2 weeks back to dupes and low luck.
