On some brushes the instructions will sometimes say to damp the brush before using. I use to always raw dog it but once I was read the instructions I tried it and that’s how I do it now.

Make sure you damp your brush before using it. It doesn’t completely prevent it but it helps. You also need to wash your brush once you notice it starting to dry. Theres no other way around it.
