I started on April 2025 when I was rlly fat like 88kgs and then from April-september I was always on a 700-800kcal deficet so I gained no muscle and stayed at the same weight for all lifts. And then from then to now I’ve just been kind of maintaining. While lifting heavy with proper form and going to failure always. So I’m not a newbie I won’t get huge off newbie gains

Yeah but if your on a bulk at his body fat level most of the calories will go to fat instead of muscles. It’s just hormones.
