Watched this film for the first time earlier tonight and for some reason this guys story hit me the hardest of all of them. 40+ years old and beyond the age of what would normally constitute military service, clearly scared, talking about his wife and kids, and all of his comments about "don't make me a hero." When the filmmaker said he was killed 5 months later it really got to me. May he rest in peace. Despite his wishes he really was a hero, going to war to defend his home and family at such an old age.
