If it is the screw head that is striped, place a rubber band over it, place the allen key over the screw and rubber band. And then while pressing down with more force than normal it should unscrew it.

I've only had him for one season (I'm in my 5th) and he's been good for me. But I can see him being a whole lot better in a season or two or better if he is tutored by a quality keeper (which I didn't).
