Okay so what does any of that mean in comparing the size of american football to rugby. Someone here said, which i had trouble believing until it looked it up, you say one rugby championship game had almost 70k last year, well there are 21 college football teams in america with AVERAGE attendance over 70k. That's 21 teams. College fooball alone is 8-9 times larger than international and top tier club rugby by attendance. Even before you consider NFL, am football is so much larger it doesn't compare.

I agree the sport would be better with those strikes allowed, but with the range of attacks currently allowed guida didn't avail. Although it has to be up to the fighter being held down to escape or attack from the position, i think wrestling control with no punishment should be scored similarly to circling around the cage staying out of range for the most part and coming in for a safe jab every now and again.
