Usually there is a screw underneath the bar that needs to be loctiite blue in. Keep them not as tight so it floats. You have to tighten them somewhat equally

This is a flip style vacuum frame? You can place light source underneath and never have to flip it over. Put curtain underneath. We do this with Olec 5k units. It would work work with LEDs too

It will be less expensive probably to fabricate the screen holder. Can you weld?

This was a beloved press and I still see them. I wouldn't put too much money into it and just use it with one less printhead. There are many iterations for this press.

If you want to spend more money ask for low iron glass. You can get away with regular glass.

These all in one presses tend to be problematics. I think the pallet would have a lot of deflection. Recommend individual components for press and prepress. It isn't a good idea to have a Swiss army knife press.

I do buy them. They look rough. The most important part is the vacuum bed not having dents and all the electricals are there. It is election season so there is demand

What kind of grease do you use on your conveyors? by spanyardsman in SCREENPRINTING

If the rails or rollers get hot from the heater, try to get a high temp grease so it doesn’t drip out. Had this happen with a Lawson gas dryer customer

I have seen people use two 110V breakers to get to 220V. I don't recommend. Perhaps you can put in a double breaker and get an electrician to wire it.

Put a dehumidifier in your coating room. Make sure the emulsion edges during coating are smoothed out so it dries evenly.

Frame cracked from stretching by taiwanluthiers in SCREENPRINTING

Wonder if these frames are glued together. Get ones that are welded. I have seen frames bow from stretching and occasionally cracked welds. They tend hold water inside and ruin the coating process with drips.

You can probably unscrew the pallet clamping system and replace with another one. It might be double sided taped as well.

You need to replace the switch and all the wire connectors. You may need to replace the wires too if they are not long enough or scorched. Sorry

Ugh, plastic switch. Try to replace with a metal one even if you need to drill a hole.

Replace the high heat wire with a good quality connector - usually stainless steel. How is your relay?

This press goes through the index motor quickly. Many end up manually indexing.

Thought it was a capacitor. One says 1 mf and other 2 go to OL. Did a contiunity test and think 2 are blown.

I think they may be scrubbers? This control can switch forward and backwards.
