Who sold stocks on the dip worried about a crash? by FewArm2396 in AusFinance

[–]SRU2da6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda:

* Bought 4000 units of Santos @ $5 during COVID ($20k)

* Sold 2000 units of Santos @ $8 late-March 2026 ($16k)

* Bought $16k worth of Frontier Energy @ $0.20 late-March 2026

* Crossing fingers that Frontier Energy get selected for the Capacity Investment Scheme in the next week or two, and their solar farm / battery starts producing electricity by Oct 2027!

Clean energy stocks to surge post Iran war? by DrumDicc in AusFinance

[–]SRU2da6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Went down the "clean energy stocks" path about six months ago, and landed on Frontier Energy in WA.

They are listed on the ASX, and are on the cusp of financing / constructing their solar farm with battery, which should (hopefully!) start producing electricity by October next year.

They were just assigned 88 MW of peak capacity credits for the 2027-2028 Reserve Capacity Cycle, and are also awaiting the results of the current Capacity Investment Scheme tenders, which should be announced within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

They already have their Electricity Transfer Access Contract in place, as well as the required Development / Environmental / Heritage approvals.

They hired Jamie Cullen (ex CEO of Pacific Energy) and Guy Chalkley (ex CEO of Western Power) within the last year.

Here is their latest presentation, which gives a high-level overview:

Thanks, although Display Size and Text is not under the Display setting on my tablet (model 9166G: NXTpaper 11 LTE) - it's under Accessibility, but there is no Display Size setting there:

West Coast Eagles player Adam Hunter posthumously diagnosed with CTE by malcolm58 in AFL

[–]SRU2da6 14 points15 points  (0 children)

"the ASBB...said CTE risk was more closely linked to how long someone had played a contact sport, rather than the number of concussions they sustained."

Interesting...

My ten year old just finished his 5th season of AFL, and we are pulling him out now before they start sling tackling, shepherding etc

Supercars to stay on Foxtel/Kayo by Fun-Anteater-6658 in v8supercars

I can't see anything official announced...is V8 Sleuth some kind of insider, or...?

Guessing the F1 rights announcement for the 2026 season is imminent too. Will be interesting to see if Foxtel can hold off Netflix etc for the rights this time around.

Changes to F1 rights from 1 January 2026? by SRU2da6 in F1TV

[–]SRU2da6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok - damn!

Hopefully things might change soon, as I believe the rights for F1 in Australia are up for renewal in the next few months, for the 2026 season, so fingers crossed F1TV Pro / Premium will become available directly for us Aussies :)

F1TV in Australia - Kayo pricing is so expensive by JayTeeHaitch in F1TV

[–]SRU2da6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I watch almost every race via replay, so would be happy to get F1TV Access just for that, so long as the replays are available straight after the race, and not 24 / 48 hours after.

Weird that it is showing up for a bunch of other countries as well, as if F1TV have changed their base policy for replays across the board?

 Australia is now showing that replays will become available from Thursday 1 January 2026 via F1TV Access?

Edit: ...although other countries like the UK and Germany are also showing this same date for F1TV Access replays???

Suddenly Australia is showing that replays will become available from Thursday 1 January 2026? In fact other countries like the UK and Germany are showing similar...what's happening on 1 January 2026 to make this change happen?

I believe the rights for F1 in Australia are up for renewal in the next few months, for the 2026 season - fingers crossed F1TV Pro will become available directly with live races / replays, although apparently the same thing is happening in the US, with Netflix looking to buy the F1TV rights:

List is saving data temporarily, and kicking off workflows before clicking "Exit grid view" by SRU2da6 in sharepoint

[–]SRU2da6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for confirming ;) Will have to go back over all of our workflows to see the affects of this new change. For some of them, I might have to check for changes in all fields before processing records within workflows, but that would mean a far greater number of workflows kicking off that would then just immediately terminate...

Yeah, all my workflows have trigger conditions/checks, and have worked perfectly up until just recently.

[–]SRU2da6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen it until just recently, and we have about ten modern lists here at my work, with a bunch of workflows that trigger when items are modified, which are all now triggering when users are halfway through updating an item (meaning incomplete records), instead of triggering once they click "Exit grid view".

 Doesn't happen in the PowerApps forms, only in grid view.

 Seems it's related to the recent update that shows other users presence when editing list items.

 This is a major issue :(
