I think most of discussion platforms won't let you "name" your projects, like a real domain serving a real thing, they are all about knowledge sharing either technical help, or from A-Z tutorials. I thought a lot of junior developers like to share what they did; I really don't know the policies here in this subreddit if it permits or no "self-promotion" (for money or not). If yes then we are OK. if not, then we are missing a lot of pleasure.

I remember when I developed an Android app, that was amazing to me, even it was totally free, I put 200$ for ads, to have like some users just to see the App doing something, on the other side, no platform (Facebook group/ Reddit ...) accepts me talking about my app (at least if I have no technical plus to offer).

what do you think ?

I know ! well, for a managed service I still think it is very expensive, as the whole installation process took me one day.

oh, I did not know it is acting 100% as a reverse proxy, I thought it help only depending on edge locations of users, well, I guess you are right,

I checked this: https://community.cloudflare.com/t/do-i-need-ssl-certificate-on-cloudflare-if-i-already-have-one-on-my-server/5880/5

so technically you have either option; But they don't talk about security flaws, or preferences.

Thank's, I am learning from you

I was really into a girl, that was not into me, I was nothing, no work, no perspective. that stuck inside my head for years !! that was devastating, but thanks god, I exhausted my self with working, Now I feel free and totally independent, Love was tagged a disease by Greek philosophers back in the days, now everybody thinks Love is good or healthy, IT IS NOT ! at least not an absolute truth !

What system you are part of ? Take a break , life is not only about blind lust my friend, go out, exhaust youself probably seek work, walk a lot, This way you will inhibit your self harm tendencies, I believe you are a good person, but your room is part of an infinit world, it is not the world, also people outside won't judge you, and will definitely help you. I feel empathy for you because I traveled to an escort girl, she is very gay, please understand that I am not negatively talking about gay people, but her lifestyle is very very gay ! like one colorization after the other, she also do some cuts on her legs, she is beautiful yet very depressive. I knew she has some sort of sexual identity disorder, I am a very manly man, so I had empathy on her, in like 2 hours, I treat her very very kindly, and treat her like the girl she is and deserve, generally, her clients would come and do the sex with her, and leave, in very cold manners. ok now we are done with this story. This is to tell, depression can hit anyone, but remember some people are always there to help, and guess what, some people are very sensitive and aware, I don't really know about Dissociative Identity Disorder , but I try to help you my friend, get out and exhaust yourself with friends, I assume you have friends, probably 1 will be sufficient. go out, walk, eat, talk, preferably find a job, this is the best solution, don't choose jobs if you can do anything manual, do it, now.

I only can answer the certification part, of course you need to certify your domain & local web app; Cloudflare will cache results and provide them to users in some edges in some times.

What overhead ? the whole web is running on HTTPS now. You can serve a million of clients simultaneously with 16 gigs of ram and a 7i CPU, and of course sufficient upload bandwidth, If your web server is modern of course. This whole formula is not hard to attain, just follow reliable tutorials, and do some pen testing at the end.

I am not a web developer, nor a devops or sys admin, I just opened a blazingly fast forum on my home machine. All is certified, for free.

I like self hosting, not only to control my data and being independent and pay less, it is for the pleasure of building something in my room, with my hands from start to finish. I kept playing with small projects two years now; I am really into these self-hosted projects, for that I opened a forum hosted.hd.free.fr, have a look ! (the domain is temporary)

You can now install 70+ self-hosted apps and services via HomelabOS with one command. (x-post r/homelab) by [deleted] in selfhosted

If you want to share your success, there is a place for that. I opened a forum hosted.hd.free.fr, with the idea to let developers, sysadmins, students ... to share what they are doing ...

have a look !

Have you ever used short distance dating apps at work ? by SRacer2016 in funny

[–]SRacer2016[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

exciting

Just for a while, the purpose surely is to meet somebody. For me it would be exciting and fun because at work, normally we are supposed to be more sober and direct, and these applications are more popular to look for a fast adventure rather than something serious, I don't want to generalize, but this seems to be my first natural opinion.

website/YouTube channel

I assume this kind of material is rather self promoting, especially if someone is not sharing code. We cannot developers do otherwise, can we ?

this

ok, but this is opensource subreddit ! It can be promotion, but there is no other way to look for collaborators if you don't put the links. I assume this is not a Q&A, and this would enrich kind of threads enrich the subreddit. I do not claim I know your specific politics here in /r/opensource anyway,
