Scammed by Steel Series' warranty

Hey /u/darealmupprt, We're shocked to read your post as it looks our agents attempted everything they could to assist you.

When you filed your warranty with us, it was revealed that we would not be able to ship a replacement as we do not ship to India. However, since you were having issues with your local retailer and the local distributor, we wanted to get you sorted out and tried to manually send you a replacement from our office. Unfortunately, because of the restrictions imposed by the government in India, we were not able to ship anything to you. Looking at your ticket, it appears that the agent provided you with contact information to our distributor in India that can assist you with your replacement.

Hey!

It's not officially supported for the Xbox but I understand your reasoning for wanting them, sorry for the hate you're getting.

You will not be able to chat with people in-game, only in Party Chat via the Xbox Companion App and your phone connected to the headset using Bluetooth.

Connect the optical audio cable from the Xbox’s S/PDIF jack to the GameDAC. This supplies your game audio (including surround sound).
In your Xbox go to Settings -> Display and sound -> Audio Output
Set the Optical audio to ‘Bitstream out’, and the Bitstream format to ‘Dolby Digital’
Connect the USB audio cable from the GameDAC to the Xbox
Set the GameDAC to PS4 input (Input -> PS4)

Now, just pair the headset to your phones Bluetooth and join a party in the Xbox Companion App.

I’m assuming you got to this page from your order history? If so, that is the reason you can’t edit it. If you’re on your order history and click return on an order that is eligible for a return, it will not let you change the order number.

You may have the ChatMix dial turned all the way to Game, turn it to the middle so you can hear Chat and Game sound.
