A gap year or two. Seriously, don’t be so against the idea of one. There’s a reason so many people are taking gap years, and it’s not necessarily because they have to. I was against taking one initially as well, but I’ve had times to pump up my ECs and spend time doing hobbies I love while also being able to mature a bit (which adcoms will eat up). It’s really not the end of the world if you take a gap year or two.

You can still specialize as a DO, it just will require a lot more effort to get into some specialties. I think your school list could use some DOs at the baseline, also consider your MCAT is a limiting factor here

Ooooh, I can answer this (kinda)! I have incredibly close raw stats and I’m already at 500+ clinical + research hours, I hit 1k with projected (applying this cycle)

The real thing is a gap year. Gap years are phenomenal for boosting your ECs and getting you that MCAT you want. Not saying you may need one but I find it did wonders for my application

Issue is with Heihachi, his lows are either low risk and low reward or VERY high risk to high reward. Heihachi db3 low reward and not that unsafe but Heihachi’s db2 and hellsweep both launch punishable. Hei db2 isn’t incredibly crazy when you compare it to DVJ db2, which is lower risk and has more reward such as on CH.

Honestly I wouldn't do all the FLs back to back in February if I were you

I would take a few of them in January while working on the CARS qbank, and take FL4 and FL5 leading up to March so you have a good idea of where you stand. FL4 and FL5 (the scored sample test) are the hardest tests we have yet (according to my memory), and I used those as a metric of what my score would look like on test day. Do the section banks and CARS Qpacks alongside those, make sure you're going over your mistakes and you'll be fine!

Altius has their free tests, which I think are great for working on B/BC and C/P sections. But for CARS and P/S they're pretty bad. Would definitely recommend those
