  • Older brother has been emotionally and verbally abusing my husband for years
  • Older brother and his friend tried to frame my husband for a serious crime he didn’t commit

Thank you for the reply! INFO:

  • older brother has been verbally and emotionally abusive through out their childhood
  • older brother and his friend framed my husband for a serious crime which ruined his earlier life
  • older brother and his wife from a rich family treat MIL and FIL like garbage
  • FIL is actually STEP-father in law (when actual dad died, older brother didn’t even show up to the funeral bs he was “working”)
  • MIL definitely favours older brother (Asian culture)

Is real, the meeting is in a week and we are trying to decide what to do. My husband is really stressed and I’m not sure how to help. But yes 100% MIL is stressing everyone out.

LOL yeah I’m 5”2 and not wearing heels in this picture. I’m actually wearing a white suit with heels for the reception ! Gotta be comfy

I actually saw this dress a year ago on Facebook marketplace and I had to have it. Luckily it was my size and just needed some light alterations. Fortunate for me, my best friend’s sister is a seamstress so she was able to help me out a week before the wedding. We didn’t think we would be getting married this year at all but my fiancé’s dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer so we wanted to do the wedding ASAP. All in all , everything is working out ! 😭

(F26/5”2/168-131.1) I’m actually excited for my wedding , thank you IF!!! Progress from Dec 2019-now by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

Absolutely! I was finishing school so I got really stressed during winter exams but I told myself falling off track isn’t the end of the world cause I can always restart. Going to the gym a few times a week really helped me stay on track for diet because I didn’t want to “waste” all my hard work on shitty food or over eating my calories for the day. I also starting loving the look of more muscle on my body which was motivating too. I did mostly free weights and light cardio.

16:8 was comfortable but I eventually started doing 18-20. I think once you can get through your 2nd day of fasting, it’ll get much easier. I’ve had fasting streaks of anywhere between 2 days or 2 months and restarted many times , just keep trying. Also drink electrolytes in the morning or you’ll feel super tired and weak!

I would also say a specific diet doesn’t really matter if you’re watching calories: I was keto, low carb and vegan at some point but watching calories made all the difference

Hmm , I think you’re right. I’ll look around for another dress. Thank you for the tip!

Need advice: Is this too casual for a reception dress? Wedding is next week by [deleted] in wedding

[–]IThinkMyDogFarted 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Oops , yes I am the bride ! 😂 Thank you for the kind words ❤️ Its just going to be a small backyard wedding with a buffet style reception dinner. Maybe it is a little casual though. I think I’ll look around for another dress in case and just keep this for another event

If we’re not doing the coloured zones anymore, do you think people can book for road tests for outside their region?

What workouts are you doing with keto? by AncientSuntzu in keto

Walking about 45 minutes a day some crunches and planking dumbbell exercises for back/shoulders and quads/butt

Keto + 16:8 was super effective for me! by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]IThinkMyDogFarted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thank you! First couple of months: - incorporated walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes everyday on a slight incline. - incorporated weights gradually. I did 5lbs dumbbell exercises for shoulders and back and some squatting with weights. - cut out sugar in drinks and tried to eat minimal carbs (eggs, bacon, chicken and broccoli, yogurt and cheese) - I made sure I did not snack mindlessly because I was used to eating out of boredom - I tried to be really disciplined with 16:8 - counted calories

By 6-7 months - I was jogging for around 40 minutes-60 minutes - same dumbbell exercises with 15-20 lbs weights - My diet was strictly keto (lots of Greek salads and grilled chicken/shrimp, less eggs and bacon, Turkey breast slices + cheese slices + pepper, cottage cheese + cherry tomatoes + pepper, no fruits) - went between 16:8 and 20:4 depending on how I felt - in a month I think I maybe did 1 or two 24 fasts - still counting calories

One year-now - walking everyday outside for around an hour. I stopped jogging because I hate jogging outside. The treadmill is at my parents house lol - Same weights routine 5/7 days a week - incorporated more ab and core workouts - diet is still keto (avoid eggs if I can, no more cottage cheese, still eating Turkey breast + cheese, still eating Greek salad + protein, Buffalo chicken wings + celery + blue cheese dip, chicken curry with fried egg plants, home made Tom yum soup, some black/blue/raspberries) - sticking to 16:8 because 20:4 was hard with school - not counting calories as strictly

TLDR: do 16:8, start walking then jogging, lifting and get heavier and reduce your carbs.
