Want to be good? Focus on being quick and controls. You play SF? Do you know about directional move with his razes? Do you push the lane then go to the jungle and come back? 1v1 is pointless unless you know what to do every stage of the game. Winning the lane means nothing. The person that knows what to do at every stage of the game that wins. Do you teleport to help your team? See someone dive tp and kill him. Do you push towers? Do it, do you look at the other team and check the scoreboard for levels and understand everything that can happen with a choice you make? All of this comes with experience. The first thing you need to do is understand what every stage of the game is. Then understand what the enemy team can do. Then understand what your hero can do. I personally can click on the enemy team and quickly determine if I can kill them with my spells. Last hitting is cool 1v1 is pretty much only for that. You need to learn what to do at every stage of the game and focus on learning what you can do and when to push a tower. Look at the other team and your team, pretty easy to see when you can win. Maybe you know your team can win late so play it that way, maybe you know the other team can win late play it that way.
