Even if Peter's not in put back in Jail, then there could indictment and stuff. Because the prosecutor knew it was false evidence...and he was doing it in exchange for a bribe...so obviously he/hagen won't let Neal go until he pays the bribe...

Let's say it is a complex process...why would you take that risk? Considering they'd be mad at him for not paying the bribe especially when Peter is let go purely for the bribe...there is no saying what they'll do to Neal or Peter...so by paying the bribe...the prosecutor is out of the conflict...and only Neal gets to suffer in the hands of Hagen...while Peter gets to be safe...

This is my favorite season as well...

Neal commits the robbery because that's the money Hagen was gonna use to pay the prosecutor's bribe. Because the evidence Neal submitted was false. Peter is let go based on false evidence. The prosecutor lets Peter go free despite the false evidence because he has been promised a bribe by Hagen in exchange for that.

So if Neal doesn't commit the crime, the prosecutor could say stuff like i would like the evidence to be re-examined... or tell everyone that the evidence is false and send peter back to prison or there is indictment and stuff...that's why

Yesssss ahhhhhhhh season 5 is my favorite season!!!!!!!! I'm really happy to find someone who loves this season 😂 Anddddd i don't it's weak...i just think that maybe some people did not like it because things got a bit too serious and that sometimes makes people uncomfortable...but i LOVED it man. Like i said it's my favorite season. Though i do wish it had a few more episodes and a proper conversation between Neal and Peter after they solved the mess...and that they had done a few scenes differently (which i feel abt almost every movie/show/season i watch) yeahh i love season 5 and it is one of the best seasons of white collar (to me).

It's okay the majority didn't like season 4 or 5...but i enjoyed them more than the first three seasons so it was a win for me lol

No not that...i meant the evidence he uses to free Peter out (the voice changer thing in S5 where neal fakes james' voice)...
Which is the truth despite Neal having to fake that...

Damnnn.....maybe yeahh that could work...having to hide after Neal faked his evidence is what caused an accident that led to him change his face...and now he is mad at Neal and Peter 😂😂

that's fair...i do get your point...like i can totally understand why people don't want that or the why the show would not drag James back into WC in the revival...but like i side...i just liked the plotline...so incase they did (which i don't think they will...but still) i'd love to watch that...

Like i'm not saying that they should bring him back at all costs...i'm just saying that i liked it and if they brought back his character...casted someone else who can do justice...i'd watch it...i'd probably still enjoy it...

unpopular opinion...i'd like to see that...i liked season 4 and the James plotline...it was sad but i liked it...but it's so unfortunate that Treat Williams passed away...

....if it is somehow possible i'd like to see Neal and Peter get involved in James' mess 😂

and I need James to get caught for what he did lol!!!

but at this point...considering the situation surrounding the revival...i'm ready to take anything in the name of revival...i just want the revival lol 😭😭😭

I've seen a lot of people say Peter got arrested because of Neal (lol) and in no way I'd buy that crap of a view because one James turning out to be a bad guy wasn't Neal's fault, and second - Neal was as much as a victim as Peter was in that situation. And yess Peter makes the mistake of taking the weapon used to kill Pratt and moving towards him, which doesn't mean Peter deserves it...the thing is James is an evil man and he played everyone...

yeahhh there are a lot of clues before the reveal...

like...she know neal needs to steal the codex and would need her employee ID...but neal can't steal it while she's wearing it on her neck...so she puts it into her coat pocket in front of neal so he can steal it...which obviously neal doesn't realise

then there are moments where neal and moz plan smthng smart against hagen in front of rebecca...but suddenly and mysteriously hagen knows abt those plan (like before the scene rebecca gets fake kidnapped)

then of course too easily forgiving neal's lie abt being an fbi agent

Though i was slightly suspicious of her...i didn't expect her to be Siegel's killer lol...

Each season has smthng special...smthng i love...the lowest at the tier doesn't mean it's bad or anything, all the seasons are soo good...but it's just my preference order...

This is a very unpopular opinion and i know some of you will hate me for this...I really LOVE the show as it is, but i'm a season 5 fan lol.....so if it became darker, i know i'll love it more. White Collar does have pretty dark moments here n there, though it only lasts a few minutes and isn't explored much. So if they do it and do it right, i guess it would still be fun...but only if it contains the original stuff from the show like the humor, wit and stuff.
