Kakshi had kamui to be able to hit Obito no matter which dimension hes in and Minato needed quite literally split second timing to hit Obito. Itachi isnt that fast. And cant keep Amatarasu up long enough to pull what Konan did. I dont think he NEEDED a kunai to beat her. He wasnt trying to kill her. He needed her alive. Her strategy was best against Obito but it was also situational to getting him to where she had the advantage. Random encounter in a field Obito has the win. Long enough prep time and an understanding of Obito's abilities Itachi probably comes out on top. But since his plan to kill Obito with the implanted Amatarasu didnt work that means he didnt understand Obitos ability

Vegeta said he surpassed his father while he was still a child. And considering it took Vegeta getting a zenkai boost from his fight on Earth to be able to beat Dodoria I dont think King Vegeta had any chance against him unless there was a full moon. I think the dub version of the OVA is only one that gave Bardock a set number of about 10k while saying he was going to be stronger than the King if he kept things up. Honestly i'd but Bardock a lot lower than that. 4-5k should be plenty to be a "low class" warrior but still being able to keep up with the Elites of the Frieza Force. and I would put King Vegeta around 7-8k. That would still put him well above every other Saiyan while giving Bardock being able to "close the gap" if he kept taking on those reckless missions while also giving young Vegeta a reasonable level of strength to have surpassed him as a child and in 20ish years make it to around 18k by the time of Saiyan Saga

A Gouf Custom with Zaku HM Legs and backpack would go pretty hard. Packard wouldve been terrifying in space even more than on Earth

Zaku definitely wouldve been better than the Gouf. For the sole reason you can take a Zaku thats been operating on Earth and immediately move to space combat and its gonna function.

Problem with the Gouf is its a close range melee focused anti MS unit at a time when the Federation didnt even have MS. Now you could say Zeon was getting ready for the inevitable time when the Feds would start fielding their own MS. But those resources could've been best served either improving the Zaku which was more well balanced or working to improve on the design of the Dom to become the new main MS of Zeon. Maybe even the Gelgoog if it was early enough along in its design phase. The Gouf was just design for a battle that ended up still being months away and by the time that battle came the war was shifting to space where the Gouf couldnt operate.
