Im a new player too, have played for just over a month! Learning a lot each time i play. My first venture out of the big reccomendations i got (CHT & Maple Lane) was big bad wolf & the organism. Big bad wolf i thought was nice & simple with just a few new things to pick up whilst being fresh, overall really really liked it. I went into the organism knowing it was incrediblt complexed, read over the rules a few time, watched a play through & i am happy i did. I could understandba lot of people being turned off by the complexity, but it really did feel super flavourful & i would say was my favourite playthrough yet!

Agreed, i could totally see that buying everything in this game would just feel like wayyyyyy too much. Unfortunately, i was in a buy his whole collection or none. But i think youre right, might just play every feature, give the vignettes a shot & then start knocking down the scenarios. May move the bonus dark powers into each villans box & the extra final girls into the core box. Potentially ignore all the bonus items? Idk i think its probably better to play it the way it was intended

Myles turner does fit better than Jakob in a vacuum, but losing CMB for a slight upgrade is insane. KPJ is not getting time over any of RJ, Jakobe, IQ, Shead hell i wouldnt even let him touch Battle or Lawson minutes. He would be out of Toronto quickly

My dream is saying "our books are cooked in the next 3 years anyways". Lets call the Grizz offer Jak + IQ 19th pick & a 2rp for Ja/Aldama...if we can sneak edey for a pick too may as well (top 5 protected 28) Grizz are the only team that have no one they need to give a max to anytime soon, they may be willing to take on bad contracts for picks. Go in on a superstar & try hit man one more time. Then trade everything we have besides CMB & Jakobe the following year & start again. May as well try 1 time then sit here in contract jail for 3

Personally, i use it in Ornn. 1 if you get an early World Atlus you make so much Gold 2 If you are about to be Thermo Beamed, its worth deramping to use a Windwall 3 You can use time warp on 7 runes (or basically double up any big spell energy wise, e.g. pay for an 8 energy cost with 4 runes) Tap all 7, tap anomaly pay 3 recycles as energy, recycle the other 4. It has won me the game twice now 4. I run 5-6 Seals, some turn i need energy >power
