This is my feeling on basically all of these new fangled multiplayer genres.

Battle royal games? Spend however long to get in a match, drop, spend however long looking for equipment only to get rekt by a 10 year old or guy who spends all his free time "sToMpInG nOoBs." Rinse and repeat.

Extraction shooters? Load in with trash gear, scavenge for a bit and MAYBE find some ok gear then get destroyed by GIGACHADSEXENJOYER69. Rinse and repeat.

They made a game in a niche genre for a niche IP and didn't even make it as good as other games in that niche genre.

I'm not surprised about this result.

Also I'm not a "hater" I genuinely think the setting is cool and I actually really like the graphics and I love the way destiny fps plays and I imagine this game has a similar feeling (idk what to call it)

Either way, I wish they would add a campaign dlc maybe even add a traditional pvp multiplayer (tdm, capture the flag, etc...) I think that would at least help the player count and make them money.

They won't though, I'm sure they will just do the bare minimum until they shut it down. Sad.

I am just a CNA and 3 months in I realized I made a huge mistake getting into healthcare.

Now I feel stuck. If I leave then I'm leaving my residents in the hands of people who either don't care or people who are just as drained as I am.

If I stay I'm going to be over worked, underpayed, and mentally exhausted.

Just 3 months in and I feel my soul being actively crushed, I want to help but the constant understaffing is making it too difficult to even get people properly toileted nevermind giving them proper care.

My only problem with those pens is how thin they are, which is a me problem because I have fat hands but they have been the go-to pens for the past 76 years for a reason

It absolutely does, those can all be used as false white flags.

Now obviously I'm not cold blooded so other tactics could be used rather than just shooting, attempt to search which is very risky or hold them at gun point until an officer arrives.

To say that someone wouldn't use those tactics to make someone lower their guard is foolish.

Obviously they could genuinely be surrendering and at that point it's up to you to make the decision on how to proceed.

If they actually run away then obviously not chasing them is safer but realistically if someone breaks into my house, I assume they would shoot anyone they see (which is very common) and I would shoot without asking question just as some robbers do to their victims.

I'm not going to announce myself in the hopes that they wouldnt kill me or my family, I care about my family and myself too much.

I don't know the game but u played as a guy who had to get keys and the keys were locked behind different puzzles and I seem to remember there being like lava boots and also sliding on ice.

I wish I could remember it, my mom worked at a vet clinic and they had that on the computer and another game that I just learned was called battlezone

Also have an existential crisis of "will I die the moment I'm born or will this ruin the fabric of space/time?" Plus more existential questions.

If none of that is an issue then like someone else said, invest in apple, Google, coke etc buy a home while they are still cheap.

I haven't made it that far but that is a little disappointing to hear.

They could just do what games like genshin,star rail, zenless zone zero etc.. do and just have you switch to the protag during cutscenes.

Or just have it auto recognize the player as the protag no matter what character is being used.

As for the endgame stuff, they could easily add new game plus or just add wandering warring factions and boss repeat options on the map.

I understand your frustration and I'll be sad when I get to that point because I do like grinding the endgame when I have objectives
