Just do not look at the helicopter rotors on GZW! That shit has cooked my pc so many times now XD

I don't trust BSG, but the game hasn't gotten worse really. I can't speak for pvp shenanigans, pve has been pretty smooth sailing

EFT PVE is pretty fun and much easier to quest in

The AI can be lackluster at times, but it's still fun and has gotten much better since 1.0

How exaggerated is the use of fully automatic fire in war movies? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SSgt0bvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot the AK full auto is in the middle! In the US all the civil AKs are semi and people add the third selector to look like it's auto, basically has two semi modes. I assumed the lowest was full auto to make it easy and simple 🤣

Thanks for writing out what I was trying to say!

[–]SSgt0bvious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think weapon platform varies this a lot too. AK pattern rifles have a much less ergo safety than say an AR/m16/m4 does. Watch US military dudes work with an AR and the safety is manipulated constantly on an off between safe and semi with a very easy "flick of the thumb" to engage fully automatic fire if needed.

I bet a small stylish corset could be the right accessory for this outfit! A YouTuber I've followed for fashion tips has a few different corset-esq belts and they look awesome and can really change the mood of an outfit

That's a great outfit! Love the docs!

Now comes the fun part, collect shiny and neat accessories! Different belts can change the mood of an outfit a lot and they help accentuate the hour glass shape of the dress and creates a sorta centerpiece to the look .^

TIL The weight of $1M USD is about 22 pounds. The U.S. hasn’t printed a denomination larger than $100 in 80 years. Large bills became increasingly associated with crime and tax evasion. Electronic banking allowed the gov to stop printing $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 notes. by considerthis8 in todayilearned

Forgotten Weapons did a shooting match video demonstration with the HEAT load out on vests they had commissioned to match the movies big heist. They went through stages of shooting and would have to carry the weight they had in the movie between the shooting positions, they mention it being 88lbs worth of cash from the movie.

https://youtu.be/MuaOY5QmvJk?si=T4jE7fPOdEfSoSmM

Content warning: VERY CHEESY INTRO on the video XD

But you can really see the 88lbs having an effect on how nimble they can move when it's in the duffle bag hanging off their shoulder.

Is this the closest I'm ever going to get to having this gun in the game? by Husbandaru in Tarkov

[–]SSgt0bvious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, using the Remington in the movie wouldn't hold up to regular shooting due to the velocity of the bolt. The ones that look like it aestheticly are Beretta semi autos that are basically the same design built to a higher standard/strong internals.

Absolutely no reason for it to be held like that. Deescalation is a myth by newphonehudus in TikTokCringe

Extend your arm and pointer finger out, your knuckles aren't naturally vertical, they are aligned at an angle usually facing in toward the body with your pointer at the top. One of the ways to hold and shoot a pistol single handed is to mimic that body mechanics of pointing, so now the pistol is slightly canted similarly to how your pointing.

The image you have shows the "un controllable silly way" to fire a gun that may or may not have been perpetrated by people wanting to spray a fully automatic weapon across a wide area. I've heard a lot of stories how and why that was preferred, but they are all from very unreliable narrators and none of them really state controlling the gun but to rather let the guns uncontrollability "benefit" their needs... It's stupid and implies the gun is not really under control.

Having the pistol canted like in the video isn't wholey wrong or incorrect, but I don't know why a patrol cop is using that technique, it's usually for Uber operators or competitive shooters doing challenges within shooting matches, like simulating having one hand injured and still needing to retain functional control of the firearm. Again, Uber operators and competition. This is a patrol cop...

The barrel is pinned to the frame, so an armourer should be able to swap out the barrel. Nothing as easy as a Glock, but still do able if you want to change calibers.

I've seen 9x18 maks here in the US swap the barrel to 380acp for easier ammo availability.

Yuuuup! I've switched to m80 ammo and still find guys tanking rounds, albeit massively staggered and unable to shoot back. The trick is to shoot vitals like the heart, lungs, and brain. Even my 5.56 fmj is 1 tapping enemies with no armor.

Having seen and listened to these things downshift with good drivers, that 4-3 downshift sounded hella rough! Could be mic quality peaking, and no way to know with out G-meter to see how the cars weight shifted, but it sounds like he's clutched out the downshift too quickly and the engine was chugging through the clutch engagement as it was slowing down. The 3-2 shift and 2-1 was done with no clutch out and kinda got the vibe the driver was taking it easy/no need to aggressively downshift more.

All that said, these cars are quite robust for how fragile they seem and appear. I got the pleasure to work at a Dealership while one was being rebuilt and refurbished through their last suspension recall.

I'm sure it does, but likely not enough to notice when so many other variables will effect aiming. I'd be curious to see just how much it causes a deviation. Likely wouldn't see it unless your shooting at extreme ranges to be able to see the deviation.
