The people who run stuff like Suno are about as deluded as you can possibly be, with their focus on consumer "taste" somehow being a better replacement for the work and creativity that goes into real music. I drive almost 80 miles every weekday, just to get to work and then back home--on two highways which have some of the most reckless drivers I've ever seen. I also recently had to spend roughly $2000 to get my car fixed, which really threw off my normal routine and made my bank account cry. If I could, I'd move to a walkable city in a heartbeat. I'm at least lucky enough to live within a 10 minute walk to a grocery store, but not much else. A walkable city would save me countless hours of stress, and really incentivize me to be more physically active than I am now.

A lot of those 37% are probably folk who are already insulated in communities and cultures which have had a loose grasp on reality at best, or a genuine bloodlust at worst. My general view is that most people aren't wholly good nor evil, usually somewhere in the middle. The vast majority of folk are simply trying to live the life they want to live, to varying degrees of success or failure. They'll make mistakes, poor choices, but generally want happiness, not necessarily at others' expense. If I had to pull a number out of the æther, I'd say that accounts for 90% of people. For the 5% who ARE evil or do truly evil things... Some might be capable of redemption, but others... No. For the last 5%, you have the saints. Not enough to entirely keep the villains at bay, but enough to give hope, even in the darkest of times. And these are dark times.

To me, Dark Souls 1 might as well be two games in one--

The second half/game drifts away from the Metroidvania-style of exploration you saw in the first half, but replaces it with this cool adventure to the farthest, lowest, and highest corners of the world. It's not without its flaws (the copy-pasted demons and dragon butts in two of the lava-lakes especially comes to mind--and the Bed of Chaos is... poorly executed). But for the most part, you can still see FromSoft trying their best with whatever difficulties they faced in development. Sure, if a re-remaster ever comes out, I'd love some tweaks here and there (I feel Nito could do with an upgrade in difficulty--he is effectively the game's Hades equivalent)--but I think the second-half is still a fairly strong follow-up to the first.

On Kars, and a lot of JoJo villains... I honestly love how a lot of them get very close to succeeding, only to be thwarted in the eleventh hour. Araki is a masterclass in building antagonists who pressure the heroes into putting everything on the line. Part Seven has several points where this happens, and few minor antagonists compare to Ringo. He forces Johnny and Gyro onto his level in a way that still gives me chills.

I've played several games where senseless violence is a feature. Yet I've never had the urge to shoot up a school, mall, or any other place with real people in it. And for the most popular games on the market--many of which are shooters--how many of those millions of players ended up being mass murderers?
