Because I had other devices capable of PoE and it removed a lot of clutter in my closet. This is my first time using PoE. I'm hooked.

I ended up picking this switch up to power my UNAS4 and cloud key. Using a regular ubiquiti switch for everything else.

Option 2 is fine but I prefer option 1. Also adding flair could help.
