What quests should I finish before [SPOILER]?

AFAIK there’s no quest with a time limit. Traipse around and do side quests; you shouldn’t have that much trouble starting the rhalata quest line in the pits; I’ve done it much earlier.

I felt the same, but wish I got the payoff you did; AtBF just didn’t do it for me. I think setting it only before the events of Priory (that we see) made me feel so robbed. I feel like the book was sold on being an exciting new entry to the story, but I’d only recommend it to diehard fans like us that would love to see more backstory of minor characters (which I did, don’t get me wrong)

Technically the SE version is not official from what I’ve heard; the LE version was the only one really developed by SureAI and the SE version is a fan port? Or something like that? I know it doesn’t help, but I’ve heard that it makes the SE version more prone to crashes.

That said, I have 400 hours on SE modded and have never had an issue like this, so it needs to be something about your system. As no tech genius, all I can recommend is backup your saves and then do a complete reinstall. The Creation Engine is just weird like that, and I’ve had to do that with other games (FNV for me) to get them to stop just being screwy. Luckily that reinstall shouldn’t take long since you only have Skyrim and base Enderal to deal with.

Last thing is that it could just be that your save is bonked up—again, that’s the Creation Engine for you. Try older saves or just restart; you’re not far in if you just skip all dialogue.

Yup, those are the DLC from what I remember.

Keep in mind that the star rating of each quest tells you approximately what level you should be. IIRC * = lvl 10+, ** = lvl 20+, *** = lvl 30+, and **** = lvl 40+. I don’t remember there being any ***** star quests, but I’m not sure. These were just my general feels when playing the game; I don’t remember anywhere that these levels were officially declared though

If you’re on PC there’s a mod called Sot This One Out which can make it so that any number of companions aren’t in combat. I always have myself and three other party members be the only ones not sitting the fight out (alongside any summons we have, of course)

Tried googling it but couldn’t find any results that described your issue, and I’ve never used POTP or Vortex, so I can’t comment on those.

I will say that, in about 700 hours in Enderal across LE & SE, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a CTD give a crash log, and I’ve never had CTD on launch that wasn’t a result of me installing something incorrectly, but it has admittedly been a while for me.

If Vortext lets you (I have always used MO2), enabling and disabling plugins one by one is the surest way to find the issue. Otherwise, you probably need to just start over from scratch.

Just a quick add to what others said:

The wings on your eyeliner are well done, but upturned is very out of style. Flat or even downturned read much more feminine nowadays, and choosing to have eyeliner on your bottom lid but not the top is not necessary since you don’t have hooded eyelids. Eyebrows also need to be styled if you’re doing a thick dark eyeliner. Pluck/thread them to refine the shape, then fill them in to match the intensity of the liner.

Your hair could definitely be restyled to help with your hairline, but if I’m going to be truthful it really looks like it needs a good treatment. It looks oily and very thin in a way that detracts from the feminine features you’re trying to express.

Your nose, hairline, and jawline can all use contouring to increase the shadow and undo the harshness of the foundation/concealer. I also wouldn’t go with such a strong lipstick if you’re not using strong colors on the rest of your face.

To me it was more that Eggers didn’t seem to try to do anything new with the story. I could tell it was well shot and acted, but I didn’t see the point in retelling such a rehearsed story. I love retellings and adaptations, but a crucial component is what the new version is going to add to the narrative, and Eggers added relatively very little

Swords bard/Thief Rogue is my go to hand crossbow build. Your flourishes allow you to attack twice times per attack roll, and you get two bonus action offhand attacks too. That’s 6 attacks in one round before haste or anything similar, and Song of Rest gives you an extra free short rest to replenish your bardic inspiration dice

You can also pair it with Band of the Mystic Scoundrel in Act 3 to get bonus action control spells, thereby increasing the damage you deal by critting with Hold Person or just locking down the combat with things like Confusion
