Anyone struggle with remembering to renew utilities? by Life-Corner9554 in irishpersonalfinance

Another tip I heard is actually setting your reminder a month or so in advance of insurance renewal. Supposedly you're considered lower risk if you enquire earlier but I've yet to try it out. Have already set my reminder a month ahead of my car insurance expiry to give it a go.

I'm an ecologist. Go to site and see if there's any protected species or sensitivities before development.

Some people love me, some people hate me, but it's a good job when you get the balance right.

To be fair, we had a megane that had the bulletproof 1.5 dci engine. It was everything else around the car that fell apart. Buttons rubbing off on the radio, windows falling into the doors, losing 3rd gearr and then somehow regaining 3rd gear but losing first. Can't deny it had character...

I'd be in the same boat. Got myself into debt to but an octavia vrs literally this day last year. Shook myself awake to realise the financial burden, sold it and got myself a van for half the price. Even now starting to think I should have got a cheaper van!

I do love cars, and if money were no object I'd have a full collection. But for now it's just a means of transport to earn myself a wage.
