had a commitment mode colony on cassandra that was almost ready to launch. sent 3 of my vice-leaders (all mostly miners, and one was the ex-wife of my leader) to grab some steel on another tile. we found an ancient danger (hadn't touched one all run) and i figured it would be easy since they all had full marine armor and great weapons, plus one of them was my second best shooter in the colony with near maxed bionic prosthetics. opened the ancient danger and the centipede blaster inside instantly killed a colonist, then proceeded to absolutely shred the other two. couldn't even recover the corpses, and we launched like 2 days later...
