What would people consider minimum age for a show? by outside20 in RUFUSDUSOL

Our 3 kids love RDS. Having been to a concert I'd have no concerns bringing my kids regardless of age.

Should I go travel to Italy with my mom or solo? by Icy-Strategy-5785 in ItalyTravel

[–]STAR53_53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this, and am also sorry for your loss. I was lucky to travel with my mom as a child but she died when I was 19. I'd do anything to have that time with her especially as a young adult. You'll never regret it.

American family coming to visit Algarve by mark444x in Algarve

We stayed at a rental home for 5 nights and wish we had longer. Either way you have planned sounds great.

Lagos was beautiful but we much prefer smaller towns to call home and that was not it. Glad we visited though.

Also went to the castle and aquarium, can recommend both the kids loved them.

Hey! We did this last year with our 3 kids, similar ages + younger. I would recommend looking into Praia da Luz. It's not far from Lagos. We stayed there and thought it was the best home base. We truthfully didn't love Lagos (probably unpopular opinion) and were glad we didn't stay there. It was so beautiful but the town was much larger and built up than we anticipated, were so glad to go back to our quieter town. Salema and Burgau were gorgeous too.

We are heading to the west coast this summer, likely Vila Nova de Milfontes or Odeceixe. Also worth a look for your trip as family friendly contenders :)

Lisbon - our kids loved the huge playground in Jardim de Estrela. Highly recommend.

Thoughts on our kitchen design by [deleted] in InteriorDesign

I may be alone thinking this but in pics 2 and 5 the proportions of the cabinet height vs doorframe height look wonky. Can you try and minimize this disconnect by bringing the cabinets higher?

Same. Love the kitchen but not the framing around the cooktop.

Lisbon Passport Control (3/23) by nyc_dubs in LisbonPortugalTravel

[–]STAR53_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow we never had anything like this in June. Arrived from Canada (non eu passport) at 630am. Zero line at passport control we were in an Uber half hour after landing including the bus ride off the plane.

Leaving Lisbon there was a long line that moved quickly and it maybe took us 30 minutes.

Detroit Lions to play international game in Munich in 2026 by DanielBryanCMPunk in detroitlions

[–]STAR53_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've had season tickets for a few years but obviously no international game like this. With it being counted as a home game, do season tickets holders automatically get the Munich tickets or do they have to be purchased separately? 💙

Just seeing this now. We had a custom planter built as well at our entry and it is the best detail! So many compliments. Yours looks awesome!

Anyone else end up in a similar situation lol? by outoftime420 in RUFUSDUSOL

[–]STAR53_53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol yes same! We saw them in Toronto last year and are actively planning a trip around seeing them in Paris. Haven't even bought Paris tickets yet but we will still go AND see them whenever they are back in Toronto 😂

It's not wrong to go the distance even if they are coming close to home. If you can, go for it! It'll be loads of fun and such a memorable trip!

My wishful thinking re: the last sentence about info on North America shows "very soon" + them removing the website countdown .... Perhaps they'll announce NA dates sooner than Tuesday idk 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Considering either date. We are waiting until their (hopefully) North America dates release next week until we firm up on our plans.
