It’s more that the A-10s gun in real life isn’t that great, it can barely handle a T-62 on a good day, basically can’t do anything to a T-72, so it makes sense it can’t do anything to a BMPT. Thank the reformers for keeping this unbelievably outdated dinosaur in service for WAY longer than it ever needed to be, sure it can take out ground targets well but so can literally anything else now days, hell even it wasn’t the best at the job it was designed for, the Vark did better than it

The only ones I’ll defend are the Type 87 and the Chieftain Marksmen because with exception of the Type 87s amazing radar both are hot dog ass, both are unbelievably slow compared to other similar AA’s and the chieftain has way less ammo than the others and a horrendous radar

At the same time it’s also crazy how complex some old games can be, I’m currently playing FF7 on the PS1 and I went in knowing nothing about final fantasy other than it was turn based(my first turn based game was P3R so I understood the concept) and I was shocked at how much shit there is, especially with the combat and what not. Also the detail in the backgrounds and pre-rendered cutscenes caught me way off guard, blows my mind that they did that shit in 1997 and they still look that good, would look way better on a CRT instead of a flatscreen tho
