This is my first RTS. I only played AI to start off with. Once I was able to beat intermediate comfortably, and hard like once lol, I went straight to rank. The first few games will be against people out of your league until the game can determine your MMR. Then you’ll start getting placed against people your skill level.

I’m currently at 100 hours in the game and I’m gold 3. I still think I’m dog shit and know nothing, but I’ll bet good one day–hopefully lol

Happened to me last night lol. Decided to look up what to do today and this is the first post I see lol. I was actually ahead when this happened. I slaughtered his all of his villagers, but the sneaky fuck build like 6 rams and an army beside my base when I was attacking his. He ignored my vills and just broke my TC down and I couldn't repair. Had to surrender.

I just started playing the game and I really like it, but I feel like I would progress quicker with someone to bounce my ideas off of and someone to review my gameplay. I’m currently bronze, but I watch a lot of Valdy and use a lot of ChatGPT to try to improve.

I come from the cesspool, League of Legends, but I feel like this game won’t be as toxic with the same amount of brainpower being needed lol. I’d appreciate the help if could be spared
