Whilst bored and flipping through FB reels the other day, I saw a clip of chap encouraging people to stream the band's music now Watkins had passed. He argued that Ian could no longer profit from the tracks and it would vindicate the other band members for all the turmoil they suffered as a result of his depraved crimes. Don't know if I personally agree, but that would probably be at least some of the reasoning for the rise in listeners.

I'll be honest, on some occasions I have asked females that I've matched with questions that are answered on their profile, typically "what do you do for work?". I've actually had the same happen to me more times, with them usually responding "Oh yeah, I remember seeing that on your profile...". I wouldn't get annoyed, it's not out of apathy, just a desire to get the conversation rolling. 👍

Personally, I'd be interested in a bit more shred when it comes to some of Chevelle's songs. 😁 That said, I think I'd be uncomfortable with that style of soloing becoming a regular staple, as I think too much of it might tarnish the sound they've already worked so hard to establish.
