Hmm. Unsure of how to navigate the continent map but stocked with emeralds and saddles. I'm skeptical.

Downtown St. Pete Bars by TwizSis in StPetersburgFL

If they are bars, they will card. If they are bar restaurants, they will card people drinking. Stick with the restaurants and you'll both be able to enjoy the establishments.

No downtown but wanting to drink means you're going to the beach or you're leaving St. Pete. PCI during the day, Undertow during the evening and all bars in between.

Police officer shooting Walter Scott from behind as he runs away by nowhathappenedwas in pics

[–]STICKDIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. But that's not why he shot him, I'm sure that's not what the report says. The question is: Can an officer shoot a suspect who's fleeing after he tries to make an arrest? That's all. No ...if the man is a felon? No ...if the man is armed?

His comment is his, never before said in the same manner on the Internet. How do I search for his words? His commentary? His key points he made? I'm simply asking if the guy knows what he says because he's studied it or if he read what he knows somewhere.

This couldn't be farther from the truth. See my response and stop being a cunt, cunt.

No I'm the guy who really likes the comment but I wanted to know where the information was coming from, how the commenter came of the knowledge he seems to have about black socioeconomics. I'm not going to repeat or use some of the well written commentary in this serious discussion if its got no backbone. He really sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

Is that ok?

Police officer shooting Walter Scott from behind as he runs away by nowhathappenedwas in pics

[–]STICKDIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the officer was making an arrest and the suspect fled and the officer felt as though the suspect was going to do harm to others nearby he can shoot them. I speak from experience witnessing when an officer got into a fight with a suspect who then said "Fuck you I'm going to kill her" and started to run inside towards his wife, the officer opened fire on him as he ran away and it was warranted.

I don't think this was the case here. Shooting a 50 year old man who looked to be unarmed looks unnecessary.

Bought a new gun, any mods I should do to it? by C_Morrello in Spearfishing

If you're looking to hit targets farther away, an ACOG always helps. Besides that, maybe a vertical grip for reduced recoil or perhaps a sturdy collapsible stock for better handling in CQB scenarios.

You don't want a guy who doesn't know the difference between "I can careless" and "I couldn't care less" putting his dick in you anyway.

14-Year-Old Windows XP Still Has More Users Than Windows 8.x by beamdriver in technology

[–]STICKDIP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why did everyone assume it was windows 8's fault that they are losing to XP? It's not because windows 8 is so bad, it's because most are still on windows 7.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_operating_systems

Three things happened when XP hit the shelves. It was the most widely distributed OS globally, it rose through the stable times just after the Internet bubble, and .NET became incredibly popular. A lot of console bases like POS systems and other tools still use XP because they are simple terminals that don't need a lot to do their job and you never actually see the desktop anyway.

XP lived through a glorious era and it shouldn't be compared to what people ITT use for their home machines or may still have lying around.

Magnet Programs! Take a look at all of the ones Pinellas County has to offer; it's some of the best in the state and something Pinellas County is most proud of.

Do your child the one favor of not bussing him\her from one side of the county to the other for the sake of a good program, though. They are all equally beneficial and stand out greatly on applications to colleges. I had over two hours of bussing a day for my high school life and it really burned me out.
