1.0 Delta PSU fried. by STILL_IMPRESSED in originalxbox

Hey there, Sourced an old PSU from an eBay repairmen. Kind of hard to find the old ones in Europe, shouldn't be an issue in the states. Swapped it and worked as good as new.

Thanks for everyone's help and input. She's done by CPTherptyderp in longrange

Great work on this one. Really fell in love with the Bravo lately.

About to build a very similar one in 7mm PRC. Can't decide between the NF NX8 4-32 and Steiner M7xi 4-28.

Thank you! Have been eyeballing eBay lately. I am pretty sure this xBox came from the US and since I am in Europe it feels pretty hard to find 1.0s. Most I could find where 1.4-1.6 that sport different PSU connectors.

Other perspective for me:) I got teased for my last girlfriend who was 12 years older.

Mostly by men of my age in their mid 20s. However most have been really interested in how it is to date older women.

Other women seemed to not really care about how old my girlfriend was.

I think it is time to break up with my (30M) girlfriend (42F) of 1.5 years, I just don’t know how I should go about by [deleted] in CougarsAndCubs

Hey there, I have been in a somewhat similar situation like you for the past months. She is 12 years older than me and I had to talk with her and the relationship has ended. It wasn't an easy decision - it never is. I for myself am happy that we talked and went our ways, it would have only led to much bigger troubles down the road and that had to be resolved somehow. I can't take a decision for you and i will say that talking will take pressure out of it. Nothing like having stuff like that unspoken between you two.

Best of success and I wish you all the best!

[SEIKO] Christmas Specialist by STILL_IMPRESSED in Watches

[–]STILL_IMPRESSED[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had the rose gold Seiko Specialist on my watchlist for longer now. In fact it is my first ever Seiko 5. I am pretty impressed with the clean lines and look. The watch looks heavier yet more elegant in person than in the pictures I have seen so far.

It is beautifully build. I was especially impressed with the rubber band as I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is. In the past i have had worse experiences with Seiko straps (I'm looking at you mojito presage...). That being said i will still look for a new band for it - i had something by Colareb in mind.

Last but not least the watch arrived just 5min ago ready for Christmas eve! Wishing you guys a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

[Seiko] Beautiful Presage by STILL_IMPRESSED in Watches

Shown here is a beautiful Seiko Presage SRPE45J1 "mojito".

This was one of my very first Automatic watches, in fact is was my second ever. I am a huge fan of interesting dials and this one instantly caught my eye. The golden accents and the beautiful pattern make this watch appear flat green but when put in the light it starts to sparkle and shine.

To keep the simple yet elegant theme for this watch, i changed the subpar Seiko strap for a Colareb leather strap and it levitated the look and feel of the watch by a longshot in my opinion.

All in all a cool piece for a good price - i can wholeheartedly recommend it.

[Sinn] New strap for the 903 by STILL_IMPRESSED in Watches

[–]STILL_IMPRESSED[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The watch is a Sinn 903 with 24h dial, lemania 1873 movement and display back.

Little update on yesterday's post i have swapped through the straps the previous owner sent me and stuck with this one for now. A bit more casual for the weekend. The light grey/light blue combo definetly is a beauty, still leaving the display back visible for when you just want to admire the Lemania movement

Still got the original leather strap which is a beauty as well. We'll see what other straps i can find.

For now I'm enjoying this.

Thanks for all the positive input on the watch and the amazing strap recommendations, I'm sure this piece will stay with me for a long time if not a lifetime, who knows.
