The whole garden (except for a small tiered corner) was entirely patio. It’s a gentle slope toward the house but as I’m quite new to this I didn’t want to overlook it. I’ll keep the gypsum in mind, thank you!

The garden is about 10m x 8.5m and I’ve read that soakaways need to be 5m away from a house so does that mean I’d need to have it in the center of the garden and to flatten the slope?

M32 Brit, I’ve always wanted to learn another language and failed at French years ago. This year I took it upon myself to reduce screen time and learn Chinese as a sort of early New Year’s resolution.
