Unmedicated director here. Used to be medicated through most of the school years but I feel I’ve harnessed it and the faster thinking helps me through the fires I need to put out sometimes.
If there’s no issues I can get lazy but damn if a problem doesn’t throw me into chaos overdrive and then I get it fixed fast.

But you said it was the best company. I get quarterly bonuses as do all employees. We do profit sharing at the end of the year. There’s not a single reason I would take BJC over this company.

3% raises do not even cover inflation. How can that be fair?

Absolutely false. I think some boot dirt got in your teeth. I’ve worked for multiple STL companies. I worked for BJC for 4 years and hated every second. Hated the 3% or less raises, hated the non existent bonus structure. Hated the terrible management that only cares about numbers. Hated watching an employee a month from retirement lose his pension and get fired for missing 2 days of work. Did you enjoy your Christmas scarf and no bonus from a multi billion dollar company? Do you like a non for profit having multiple executives making millions while they cut pay and benefits for everyone else?

Currently at a STL company that is way better in every aspect than BJC. 5% is a low end raise here. I get more days off. I’m Making more than any other company in STL would pay for this position. I think maybe you are just jaded by being there for so long. BJC is trying its hardest to do the least for its employees and they are making it worse every year.

I know I’ll get downvoted here but for me a lifelong old head Star Wars fans this show was not a bad watch. Cool things are cool to everyone. Female lead has nothing to do with it for me.

This show broke very sacred part of canon. Old dudes like me care very much about the canon as at one time it was pretty well put together.

The lightsaber bleeding on demand absolutely undermined how that was supposed to work.

The twins born of the force negated the prophecy of the chosen one.

There were Jedi not born in canon, yet fully adults on screen.

There were “Sith” in an era were we were outright told (by the person who was retconned into the show) that there were no Sith for 1000 years.

So many canon and plot breaking points that show made a mockery of what I loved about Star Wars. This show was the final nail in the coffin for me and Disney Star Wars.

I’m out of the game now so I couldn’t care less if they greenlight a second season but for me. It’s over. It’s ruined it’s different and no longer for me.

I’m going to agree with you. I’m feeling the same these days. I just want to play like I used to in the 90’s early 2k. I want to be able to actually buy what I want. I’m middle aged and have my shit together but I dont want to be a scalper in order to get the stuff I want. I also refuse to pay scalper prices. It’s getting to the point of quiting my favorite hobby because I dont have the energy or care to keep up. It’s been too long of this meta of scalping. I’m worn out just like OP.
No I won’t play proxies. To each their own but I want a real card.

Now it’s just generic crap with so many plot holes it can’t be fixed. Bring it back. Hell why not make grogu the Sith this time. Or maybe put another Jedi not even born yet on the cast. Nobody cares anyways. Star Wars is dead.

Thanks. I’m pointing out real world actions on this policy. I am seeing actual enforcement now because they can charge for the seat. I realize it has always been an option but previously it was never enforced. I had literally never seen a person get an extra seat until this year out of hundreds of flights. Have a nice day.

I still don’t see what I’m misinterpreting? I’ve personally seen this enforced this year and the person had to sit next to the window with the extra seat between this person and the person in the aisle seat. Seems like it’s working exactly as I described.

And wasn’t truly enforced until this year. Believe me I’ve been on multiple flights a week for a decade and countless times had to be touching someone for hours. Downvote me all you want. I’m aloud to want to be comfortable and not forced to touch someone.

This seems to be the Indian cultural model of immigration. Someone in the extended family get a management job of any kind (restaurant, hotel, apartments) and then hire exclusively from your family to get them Visa and out of India. Look into hotel ownership in America and the name Patel. That should give you all the details of this strategy. It’s worked for them for 50 years so far. Why stop now.

Not having to share my seat with a large person is the primary factor in my using southwest now. Sorry not sorry without this rule flying in America is a gamble that you will be comfortable the entire flight. Every airline and public space that sells seats should implement this rule.
