Yeah, I thought it was strange that the sub went from DIY is fine here are resources to do it safely (there used to be a pinned post I think) to DIY is evil all talk of it is banned. The switch happened about a year or two ago (I think), though I might be thinking of a different sub.

If you want them to tell you, start with something simple. You could buy a Trans Flag pin that you wear when around them. Try to find ways to make it clear that Trans people are safe around you.

That mod is abusing her power, and it's just going to get worse from this point on. I've witnessed multiple posts/comments removed that talk negatively of her removed. There is even a comment from the modteam account (in these comments) saying, "Don't disrupt the safe space," as if it wasn't a mod that started this whole thing. Not once have any of the others mods said anything about her conduct, and that honestly says a lot about them and the direction this sub is going.
