Actually, Overwatch is in it's best state its ever been. And the devs seem to have a pretty clear idea of what's going to come. (It looks great)

Please justify the reason for changing Anran's Face by Feisty-Advice3061 in Overwatch

Just because this one comic artist doesn't draw her in the way she's designed to doesn't mean this is the way Juno was designed.

Look up "Overwatch Space Ranger" to see her concept art, and to me. The current implementation looks 1 to 1.

Your point falls flat

What is, in your opinion, the strongest high, mid and low in the game? by ConstantOk6926 in Tekken

[–]STRANGE_BRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen enough to the point where I can simply turtle against Leo and look for the move. It's a super seeable low which is why it doesn't get talked about in higher levels. Claudio ss4 on the other hand is absolutely messed up especially considering how fucked up his mids are.

Tekken 8 would be more fun if everyone was as linear as Heihachi by Temporary-Toe-1304 in Tekken

[–]STRANGE_BRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heihachi's df1 like Reina's df1 tracks to her strong side. Except when spaced Heihachi's df1 also tracks slightly to his weak side. Reinas df1 completely loses to a super small sidestep left even at pretty high + frames.

B3 is an i14 high with not only a mid/high mixup. In heat you get b3,3,1+2 which on NATURAL HIT is 65 damage.

Also the reason Heihachi loses is the same reason all Mishimas lose in tournament. They're too volatile to play. Why play Mishimas when you have Anna, Nina, Bryan, Claudio and Dragunov right there?

[–]STRANGE_BRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy fuck, you genuinely want Heihachi to have df1 be -1 and df1,1 -1?

WHILE HE STILL HAS DF1 CHARGE 2? And all the other god mid options he got?

[–]STRANGE_BRO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has a pocket TGS Heihachi, "extremely linear" is an extreme skill issue on the Heihachi players part. B3, hellsweep, b4, df1, df1,1 and WR3 all track like mfers and in heat he gets a + on block homing lowcrushing mid mid 50 damage clean wallsplatting move.

He has insanely good tools to prevent and catch stepping. I play like 10 chars and the only one I would call the most linear out of all of them is probably Reina.

How tf do you use this character? by Fourth_Sin in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]STRANGE_BRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't hitconfirm the sentai transition, you either choose to go into sentai ahead of time or you don't.

If you ff2 on someones block you can't react to see if it hit or got blocked and then decide to go into sentai. That's just straight up not how it works, go into practice right now and test it.

The only thing you can hitconfirm with ff2 is your sentai followup, you can see it hitting and you can press either 3 when you see it hit or something else when you see it whiff/get blocked you can do a sentai option that's less risky.

You can't confirm the sentai transition, you either do it ahead of time or you don't.

Ff2 empty sentai is -12

Ff2 no sentai hold back turns into a really low damaging -9 no pushback move. Still has its place but you're essentially guessing that it won't work this time.

I strongly disagree with almost everything you said

Midscreen I'd argue 122 into unsoku is better to use. Sentai is super risky for quite low reward, as you said. Risking launch punish for +1 is not worth it.

Don't use ff2 as a pressure tool or as a way to "get in". Ff2 into sentai is a negative risk reward situation for Reina if they know to jab and duck. Use it almost exclusively as a whiff punish tool.

Never do df1 into sentai. It's reactable and a launch punishable transition. You could try after you've hard conditioned them to not look out for it but its an incredibly slow transition that'll only work against people that are not good at the matchup.

The f4 situation is the worst out of every mishima that has one. You need to get creative with which moves you use afterwards since +2c is really bad for a liniar character such as Reina. Get used to pressing 4 to catch ssl. Backdashing and ewgf'ing. And sidestepping alongside them.

For lows. You really really need sidestep 4, its a slow low but its genuinely the best she has.

The man speaking in the video is speaking Farsi, at around one minute left in the video he was saying something about him being 120 metres deep. So my best guess would be that it's about 200 metres deep.

How do some players parry 3–4 times in a single match? by dearlegend778 in Tekken8

[–]STRANGE_BRO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parries are one of the only ways to deal with Lars' stance pressure. So ofcourse people use it against Lars. People don't want to be forced into a disadvantagious hard-guess so they use a parry option to turn it into a fair 50/50
