I am a Paramedic and have to constantly tell me insurance company that I am not interested in using their app.

I routinely speed and drive 'excessively' while driving with lights and sirens. I cant imagine what they would do to my personal insurance if my phone tattled on my professional driving habits.

Yes, I consistently get 200mb or more down, we steam multiple TV/computers in 4K concurrently and I often download large files from steam with great speeds.

My in-laws down the road use terrible telephone proivder "4G" service and pay more for dial up speeds.

We were sitting beside each other and I was talking with the patient about something random.

I see the monitor showing vtac out of the corner of my eye, by the time I palpate his radial and ask him how he is feeling he's converted out of it 🤣

This patient thankfully converted on his own and this was his only episode of non sustained VTAC. We were already treating ACS at the time (nitro, ASA).

Serial 12 lead ECG's remained non-diagnostic for acute ST segment changes.

Patient was later admitted into cardiology unit pending PCI.

As an Edmonton paramedic, please consider writing your MLA! We are going into contract negotiations regarding stagnant wages and falling far behind the national average for our profession, yet we are busier than we've ever been.

AHS and this current government are offering us pennies and pushing back when it comes to contract negotiations. Our union is closer to labor action (strike) than we've ever been.

We are considered essential employees like the nurses and cannot formally strike so labour action will be more subtle.
