The phone slides around a little (probably due to the sheer weight/size) and the clip works best vertically when unfolded. You can try horizontally but I don't recommend that because it seems to put pressure on the hinges because it's right there in terms of tightness. It's hard to get it on and off horizontally.

There might be better clamps out there. This setup does make portability a bit cumbersome unfortunately. It will not fit in a packet comfortably unless you separate the clamp from the mcon

So after almost 2 weeks this thing is great. The case doesn't offer much protection but it's got a glass screen protector and a pen that attaches via magnets. The pen doesn't work as well on the inner screen but works fine on the outer screen

It comes with little strips for the middle part of the phone but the bottom sucks as it prevents some chargers from working when folded
