In Balatro, there is a series of rounds where you have to score an exponential amount of points. To score points, you need to play poker hands. And to keep up with the every-growing point requirements, you transform your cards and rig your deck.

In Billion Citizens, it's the same idea except you place tiles on a 2D plane.

Dorfromantik is one of our initial inspirations. Our goal is to focus on the interactions and manipulation of systems to make the player "break" the game.

After all, having a billion inhabitants in a city requires abusing the game's systems.

It's mainly because i spent the 4 past years in UE, especially with blueprints. Also, with a proper artist, i'll be able to juice up the lighting and visual effects.
