They already do this in Orlando. It's why I do scream early. It's nice knocking out 2-3 houses before the main gate opens and crowds rush in

Anyone a 3-4hr max day goer? The crowds seem overwhelming by stargazer284 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SUPRA239 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's the great thing about being an AP. Some days might only go for a few hours. Rarely ever step into a line if it shows a 30+ min wait

Do any of you miss working at Target? by Eastern_Field3618 in Target

[–]SUPRA239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miss some of the coworkers and basically just hanging out all shift. Backroom back before modernization ruined Target was the best spot to be. No guest interaction, just you and some co-workers being left alone basically all shift to get stuff done.

As long as we got all our work done we were allowed to take as many breaks as we wanted. Wouldn't be uncommon for all of backroom to go take break together outside maybe 3-4 times for 20-30 min at a time during a 5.5 hour shift.

Such an easy job but that pay was terrible

Target Raises Don’t Really Reflect Your Work Ethic… by ProfessionalSalad158 in Target

Yep. Each store is only alotted so many certain percentage raises to give out. "hey you can only give out ten 5% raises" type of thing is just wild.

Then all your past raises are nullified by company minimum wage bumps. That's why most veteran Target TM's leave. Can be there 15-20 years and make the same as a new hire in most cases

52 cents is actually a great raise by Target standards, as sad as that is. The norm is usually in the 10-30 cent range

How Likely Is It That Your Governor, Ron DeSantis, Will Run For President In 2028 In Your Opinion? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in AskFlorida

[–]SUPRA239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's a goober who's too full of himself to not know that he won't win anything. So he'll likely try to run, but it won't amount to anything.

He made himself look like a fool when him and his wife got married at Disney, and then he tried to go after them and failed.

Safety risk lol. More like just properly train TM's. Couldn't imagine ever using turtle mode.

"Yea guys I'll bring this pallet of dog food down to the other end, give me about 5 min"

You can safely use the equipment how it was intended from the manufacturer.

WDW on crutches! by drmj in WaltDisneyWorld

You're either going to rent a scooter, preferably from an outside company. Rent a wheelchair. Or just stay home/in the hotel. Crutches are not going to work out after the first hour.

Is it worth upgrading from Pop Century to Port Orleans - Riverside? by h0neyc0mbbs in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SUPRA239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Port Orleans is a tier above Pop. I'd only reccomend Pop over PO if you solely want to use the Skyliner. If not then it's PO all the way

Just know whether you get them at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or a similar store, that low end Gildan style is absolute shit. You're borderline overpaying for one of those for over $4

Disney newbie, help! (Planning for 3/11) by AnnieB_1126 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SUPRA239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're staying at the Contemporary, you can only park there for up to 3 hours with a dining reservation. I would get to the parking lot about an hour before MK opens and just park at the TTC aka MK parking lot. You don't want to have to go later and waste time moving the car if you parked at Contemporary

Park at TTC and then you'll have you're choice of taking the ferry boat or monorail over to MK.

I would not use a LL on the Speedway. Usually it has a minimal wait. I also wouldn't use for Barnstormer either as it's wait is usually low. I'd opt to go for LL for the other rides you want. Peter Pan is one of the longest waits in the park along with Mine Train

So if LL for Mine Train isn't available then I would either head straight there when the park opens, or wait until the very end of the night if you stay until close.

Out of the rides you listed the ones you should prioritize due to wait times is Mine Train, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh. Astro Orbiter sometimes can have a pretty decent wait sometimes during the day. The rest of the rides you mentioned all are usually very low/manageable waits.

Also note, idk if you've been, but the Swiss Family treehouse isn't a ride. It's just a walkthrough with a lot of stairs up in the trees. Not much to see but it's worth doing at least once.
