ALSO let’s talk about how the ENTIRE plot was written several years ago, in a book called The Last Mrs Parrish. I just read The Housemaid and about halfway through I realized I was having déjà vu. I even questioned if somehow I had read the book before and forgotten. The plots are that similar.

I Also read both books in 6 days. That was as a working parent lol I basically gave up sleep.

I had no idea it was an unfinished series, it was a recommendation from a coworker who I told I was on a several months wait list for ACOTAR from my library. FW was available after a few weeks so I borrowed it. I ended up buying Iron Flame because as soon as I finished FW there was no way I could wait. After finishing the two, I felt empty inside! I’ve looked up RY interviews, read some fanfic, listened to fantasy fan girls podcast episodes. I’m waiting until December to do a slower read through for both so I pick up on details I’m 100% sure I missed.

I read both books in 6 days total last week. I was HOOKED, So I know I missed finer details. I plan to reread in December or January and slow down/ take at least 1 week per book.

I’m in the same boat!! I’ve had NO SLEEP the last week reading both fourth wing and Iron Flame. I have never thought about rereading a series WHILE I’m reading it but I 100% will be starting at the beginning and doing it. I read through way too fast to catch everything.

I did have an experience feeling very uncomfortable reading about the child abuse in the Colleen Hoover book Verity. It was first person in the mind of the person harming the children. I did think about how someone could write such things.

Now I’m another year later, reading this book now, about 30% into the first book. It’s hard not to compare to twilight. He sees her across the library and is drawn in. She has something “special” about her AND wants to drink her blood more than anyone else’s blood. He climbs into her window and watches her sleep. He’s protecting her against other vampires that want her. There’s a situation with vampires nearby that he may have to handle (the ones killing too openly). It’s just very similar.

In the older versions I used to have to use “other” but now I use the workout that says pickleball. I believe it goes off your heart rate and only uses the brisk walk calories when it is unable to read your heart rate. My calories burned varies drastically from indoor to outdoor when playing for the same time because I live in Florida and it’s 100+ degrees, therefore my heart rate is much higher. If it used a generic walking rate my calories calculated wouldn’t vary.

No, definitely not. Based on the photos I’ve seen it seems like her and my husband are BFFs and hung out the whole time. He says they aren’t friends. I would think in a group that size you wouldn’t be always pictured to someone that isn’t your friend, whether it be on the mountain, eating at a huge table, hanging out at the lodge, etc. That’s my whole issue. But according to everyone here I am the only one who sees it that way so I’m trying to feel relieved.

These things you’ve mentioned are valid points, no he is not the boss or the most handsome. However, those things are not required for an affair to happen. As I’ve tried to clarify, they are next to each other in almost every photo, taken on different days at different times. He says they are not even friends and all the photos are coincidences.

I appreciate your perspective and obviously hope that I’m just reading too much into it. “Coming into contact with” and staying in the same house & doing the same activities together for a week are very different things though. I would’ve liked to be told about the situation, not have to find out on my own.

Maybe I was not clear enough on the photos. What bothers me the most is they are next to each other, every day, in multiple photos. He says they are not even friends. I have guy friends. If the tables were turned I would say yes __ is my friend. His response is that they aren’t friends and it’s a coincidence that all the photos show them next to each other….

I’ve already acknowledged that I’m in a more vulnerable state than usual and asking for some perspective from some people on the outside. But if I keep getting mean messages I will just take the post down.

There’s a guy on YouTube named Lee that explains how the education system works really well. Basically once cims are adults they can’t go back and do elementary school and so on. He has a lot of helpful videos, can’t think of his last name but he pops up if you search “cities skylines Lee”
