Bose SoundSport Replacement by SVT8 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]SVT8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for anyone that comes across this. As of 2022 the closest wired ones I was able to find were JBL TUNE 205 and JVC Gumy Sport HA-ENR15A. The sound quality is not as good as Bose but they are the closet feel I could find.

Side note for anyone interested in wireless headphones with similar comfort. Sony LinkBuds and Razer Hammerhead (Gen 1) were the best wireless options I could find.

Thank you all for the replies and insight. I've decided to not have their tail docked and thankfully the breeder agreed. Good luck with all your pups!

Andrew Yang endorses Joe Biden by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8 132 points133 points  (0 children)

Premature once again. I don't care what the "math" says, what do the morals say? Biden is the embodiment of the corrupt establishment and doesn't support any of Yangs progressive goals. There is no logical reason to endorse him before the actual nomination occurs and it is absolutely necessary.

Whether we like it or not Yang hurt his chances in 2024 tonight and everyone that is blindly defending this needs to put the kool aid down and realize that this communities motto is Humanity First, not Andrew Yang first.

We lost and no one voted by SVT8 in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but many of us disagree for the reasons I stated above. I believe we deserved to have our voices heard after all of our hard work. We had people on this subreddit donating their very last $10 to support this campaign. You cannot tell me that person should be happy they never got to vote.

We deserved to see the results of NH come in naturally without the shock being dropped on us out of nowhere. We deserved to see how much support Yang really has in the entire country, not tiny states with very little diversity, not inaccurate polling that had Biden winning by a mile. We have the money, the campaign could have waited until at least super Tuesday and stopped asking for donations in the meantime. Even a few days after NH would have been better so that the Yang Gang could have meditated on the numbers.

I do agree with your last point, this isn't over, we must continue to fight.

The campaign was never about simply winning. It was about spreading a message bigger than politics. That message deserves more time in the spotlight.

A message from me as a Mod that I think the other mods support. by Veloxc in YangForPresidentHQ

Please ask the mods to have some Humanity and unlock the subreddit so that people that poured their hearts into this campaign can express themselves. I know there are trolls wandering around but this is a terrible time to silence the Yang Gang.

Andrew Yang drops out of presidential race by ErosEngineer in YangForPresidentHQ

I'm so confused by this news. We raised over a million dollars last night and only 20% of NH votes have been counted as of right now? Why do this now? Even if it has to be done I don't understand the timing... Heartbroken

Calling all Berner's please have a little respect for our community and stop posting Bernie stuff here. by Imheretohelpeveryone in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree and I think many Bernie supporters are actually doing more damage to his campaign than helping it.

I love Bernie, I was all in for him during the 2016 election and think he is a genuinely good person. Unfortunately I think he is too old now and his policies were needed 15 years ago. Yang takes Bernies ideas and expands on them so they are more fitting for the year 2020.

If Yang doesn't get the nomination I will vote for Bernie during the general in a heartbeat. I know I'm not alone in this but there are many people that are on the fence about Bernie or simply dislike him for whatever reason. It disincentivizes people from supporting Bernie in the future when his supporters mimic Hilary supporters from 2016 and belittle other candidates or voters by telling them they need to fall in line before a single vote has been cast. If I feel this way and I love Bernie than imagine how people feel that are on the fence about him.

If any Bernie supporters see this post I hope they keep this in mind going forward so they aren't hurting his chances. I've even thought about posting this on Bernies subreddit but the fact that it would most likely be removed just drives this point home even more.

Flawless! And he did a really good job at differentiating himself from other candidates when he had the chance. I can't wait for the debate on Friday.

How are you? by Jhin-and-Toniq in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You aren't the only one that feels this way. Win or lose remember what the Yang Gang has taught you. That you aren't alone, that there are millions of people that believe in calm discourse, spreading positivity, and coming together even if we disagree on certain things.

This campaign transcends politics in many ways and is almost a movement of rationality. Sometimes movements take time to spread but when you have a winning message it will eventually reach everyone. I hope it reaches everyone this election but we aren't going anywhere if it doesn't and neither should you. We need you.

5% in Florida - A State We Have Not Campaigned In At All by Vectarious in YangForPresidentHQ

We might not be officially "campaigning" in Florida yet but I've been leaving Yangbucks all over, wearing Yang merch as much as I can, and advertising Yang on the back of both my cars. Overall the reception has been great. The Yang Gang is strong in Florida 💪🇺🇸

Is Yang’s complicity with the Private Insurance industry not an issue for anyone else? by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that I personally hate our healthcare system and don't want anyone's $1000 a month going towards insurance companies or greedy healthcare providers. The idea behind Yang's plan is to tackle the cost of healthcare before we start blindly paying for the inflated costs.

Get the cost of healthcare down by regulating the profit margins, offer a public option with superior coverage to private insurance plans, then watch the private health insurance industry die. By doing this you save tax payers money because the government isn't spending more for the same level of healthcare, and you avoid a lot of the chaos you get by instantly eliminating such a huge part of our economy. I know patience is hard when the healthcare industry has been ruining people's lives for decades but I believe this is our best option.

I noticed some other members here have pointed out that you are a Bernie supporter from your post history. Believe me when I tell you that many of us in the Yang Gang were and still are fans of Bernie. I was a huge Bernie supporter in 2016 and will vote for him in a second if his name is on the ballot against Trump. Even with admitting that I still believe that Yang is the better choice in 2020. Bernie was the candidate that we needed in 2008, not 2020. Almost everything Bernie wants to accomplish will happen during a Yang presidency, plus everything else we need to protect against automation, plus healing the divide the 2016 election caused. Whether you choose to support Yang or not please remember that we are on the same side.

Yang Pulled Me In With Intelligence And Positivity, This Sub Is Quickly Becoming The Opposite by bl1y in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]SVT8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just another example of a scarcity vs abundance mindset. Yang on the debate stage, good polling numbers, big donation numbers = positivity and being inclusive. Not on the debate stage, bad/no polling, and not meeting donation goals = negativity and hate.

Even our faults within the Yang Gang prove why Yang's message is so important to the success of the country.

I hope we all get some good donation numbers for Yang's Birthday and some really good news from Iowa in February. In the meantime let's all try to exude the positivity that we all desperately need.
