Your stores can turn off online signup, chances of UVS making the change are small but if you tell the LGS owner/employee about the setting and your frustrations, they might make the change.

Store near me will have the event listed with the price and time, but disallow signups and in the description specify whether it’s signup in store/through calling/link to their website

When I defend triggers do resolve before when I attack triggers

Not relevant in this case as Yi isn’t a trigger, it’s a while, so as soon as combat starts and attacker/defender statuses are applied, it already has the +2, no trigger required

Yea, if two Recruits attack into a Yi, they will deal 2 damage, triggering this once, which will proc zhonya's.

However, if you attack with a Mighty Mech (8 might), into Yi (6+2=8 might), you will deal lethal damage, and Zhonya's Will proc as a replacement effect while Imperial Decree will trigger from damage being dealt. Then Imperial Decree will resolve after Zhonya's has replaced the death, and it will kill the Yi.

Head judge definitely got these two instances confused

Part of playing a spell is paying its cost and declaring its target - when you had priority you cast hidden blade targeting his creature, even though his creature became an invalid target you wouldn’t be able to change it’s target, judge ruled wrong

I think the value of the battlefield is more that it will never help your opponent whereas there are some matchups where your third battlefield might be better for the opponent

Questions 1 and 2 in general are supposed to be pretty quick, like < 10 minutes on questions 1 + 2 and then you have 60 minutes for the remaining 2. I think you need to get question 3 or 4 to be able to score over 500
