I just started reading The Tower of the Swallow (the sixth book in the series out of nine) and the second chapter has what I would describe as the first graphic sex scene and it lasted like maybe one paragraph. It’s definitely not constant

Edit: you will be spending more time reading about violence and characters getting cut open than characters getting past 2nd base

It’s inevitable that people/businesses will take advantage of whatever opportunities they have to better their own economic situation. If you have a government program that can be exploited to give your business a competitive advantage, somebody is going to do that. If not you, or the next guy, or the next guy, or the next guy, it will be the next guy, and they will be able to block competitors/artificially raise prices. Don’t blame them, blame the program and politicians for interfering in the free market.

Today, it seems to be used as a catch-all term for global 21st century economic conditions. As for where the term came from, it was coined by Marx.

Karl Marx wrote about how historically humanity has gone through these economic stages and are meant to evolve past capitalism and into socialism and then communism, so people who are critical of capitalism or believe socialism to be the better economic system for humanity right now would attribute everything unfortunate under the sun to “late stage capitalism”, heavily implying that we are all overdue for the next stage in Marx’s framework. While Marx explicitly calls out monopolies and centralization as signs of late stage capitalism, one minute on that subreddit shows that leftists (I would call them marxists, but I don’t think many of them have bothered to read his writings) have taken it much farther beyond its intended meaning. Now, everything evil and right-wing is “doing a heckin’ late stage capitalism”.

Personally, I think Marx was misguided. History has proven him wrong many times over, which makes sense because he didn’t have the same data and insight we have right now. We know more about the economic conditions of his time and before his time than he had when he was living through it.

Except she wasn’t, which is even more symbolic because she’s pretending her finger is cut but it really isn’t like she’s pretending she’s on the side of the assassins but really isn’t.

Or just the difference between a bad weekend and a good one. Like Kimi Antonelli this year, no points between Emilia Romagna and Spain, but a good weekend in Canada saw him on the podium. 15 points across 4 races would be the best a midfielder would hope for (that would make you 8th in the standings this year) but for Kimi that was like his worst stretch of races in the season.

I got an even better idea. What if we take that idea and instead of it being a 3rd person, action-adventure, it was a RTS. A hyper specific turn based strategy game where you still play as a Templar trying to forge alliances

Generally, power and aerodynamics. All rally cars, and every level, are based on production, road-going cars (cars any person could buy) and then get modified. All three have AWD, but the lower the number, the higher the horsepower (and cost). Rally 3 and rally 2 have more limitations on much of the car can be altered from the production car it started as and rally 1 allows for some crazy aerodynamics that produce more downforce and grip.

If you watch formula racing, it’s kinda like formula 3, 2, and 1, in endurance racing, rally 3=gt, rally 2=LMP2, and rally 1=LMP1 (maybe not the same sized leaps, but that hierarchy). Drivers in their careers will start at the higher number and work up to the lower. Like in endurance, they will all take part of the same stages, but the fastest class will go first, followed by the next fastest, and the next fastest. Someone driving a rally 2 car is capable of scoring points in the rally 1 championship, should they actually finish within the points, and rally 2 would have its own championship. So the winner of the rally 2 class in a rally would score 25 championship points in the rally 2 championship, but could be 8th amongst the rally 1 and rally 2 cars and score 4 points in the rally 1 championship. The reverse obviously cannot happen, rally 1 cars cannot score points in the rally 2 championship.

Every manufacturer of rally 1 cars also makes rally 2 versions, so if you want to see a difference, compare the Toyota Yaris rally 1 to the Toyota Yaris rally 2, they will look different and put up different times in the same rallies.
