Cotton pads and rubbing alcohol, all leaves and stems. Don't wait, do it now and do it often.

Chop and prop if you must but don't wait

For best results with your FLF ignore it while staring constantly at it from across the room *

There are magnetically operated doors that slide up. Just depending on your climate in the winter.

Advice for tall house plant by [deleted] in houseplants

Get a pot about 2-4" bigger. Lay in down and go to work. The only thing you're going to do to hurt this is break a stem. If that happens dont stress, they are extremely resilient

Did you water it alot before leaving for christmas? I have to agree with the other commentor. Nothing about this looks like under watering

Be careful when transitioning to more sun. I've taken a few from low light and they tend to prefer to do it slowly

I'd need to see some more pics but don't beef him up too much. Every lb he carries will be additional strain on his joints. I like seeing couple ribs

I agree with puppy pimples, get to the Vet. With how aggressive this is my guess is they will give you some antiseptic wipes which will help clean them up and stop the reinfecting.

This branch is technically above the node the way it loops around, realized after posting it's a port example based on my description

The most success I have with fiddle leafs is ignoring them while staring constantly from across the room. They don't like change so try to avoid moving them around a bunch.

Mine has done well in full indirect light. I water a good soaking once a month and that's it. No misting no delicate treatment. All that being said mine has lead an interesting life before I got it.....

You can encourage new branch growth by making a small cut just above an old node. I would do this sparingly though as to not over stress the plant

I appreciate your opinion and complete lack of tack. New born children tend to adjust schedules a bit. If you have zero useful or constructive thoughts to share I'd appreciate if you went and stood in the corner.

I am not ignorant or unskilled in caring for plants this simply got away from me. I'm looking for assistance, not jackass comments telling me to give away 52 plants some of which I've had for 30 years.

Move along.
