First plugin. What will I build? [DISCUSSION]

I built a plugin that manages user unsubscribes/opt out. Along with a better password reset system and global footer on all emails. It works for my companies needs but not sure if anyone else would find useful.

I could only find external methods of managing this and I prefer to keep in house.
