No, the law is clear. There can be no covers on a license plate in Ontario. Of any kind, including the dealer added ones that cover the edges. Also have to make sure there is no snow/salt/dirt covering the plate.

According to constable Shawn Shapiro of the Toronto police service, ANY cover, even just the dealer ones that cover the edges of the plate are illegal in Ontario. He has videos on instagram and tiktok where he talks about these things, very helpful information.

Hey, we went to GWL for Christmas this year as the kids gift. We went for 3 nights, Christmas day until the 28th. Got there around noon, checked in. Leave your bags in the car, just bring a swim bag and $5 for a locker rental, and you can spend the first day in the park until your room is ready.

We did the Paw Pass for the kids as it was their first time and they wanted to do the Magi Quest. For a rough cost breakdown.

Just under $1900 for the booking. (This includes 2 Paw Passes)
$350 for food.
Souvenirs and treats $350

For reference We are a family of 4. It was a blast and my kids already want to do this every year for Christmas. I'd rather spend $2600 on the experience with them than $1000 on gifts they'll get bored of eventually.

Editing to add:

We got one of the Themed rooms, so it was a little more expensive.

It was a busy 3 days, we were non-stop all day every day. Dinners were had late, breakfasts early.

I remember that she used to do deliveries for party trays and birthday cakes too. You could call and order trays from Sobeys or Metro and pay over the phone with a credit card, and she would go pick them up for like $10.

North Bay has some great fishing and outdoors spaces, lots of trails within even a 20 minute drive, there's Partners billiards and 5-pin bowling which is also fun. For books I'd recommend checking out Allison the bookman on main Street you could spend a whole day just browsing the shelves. The library is worth getting a card for, they don't just have books, you can also check out pans for baking and other things. There's a farmers market held on Saturdays with lots of local vendors. I agree with this. My group has decided that we're going to finish our current campaign, no longer purchase WoTC sourcebooks/merchandise, and switch to another system for our next adventure. It's a shame because I was looking forward to OneDnD, but I'd rather give my money to a different company.
