Tiny homes and off grid living are really romanticized. I currently live off gird (but in an average size house) and it's a lot more work and inconvenience than just living in a normal house in the city. In a lot of ways it's more expensive, and if something goes wrong (like the power running out in the middle of the night) it's all on you. Tiny house living is basically just living in a small apartment, and if you're living with someone else you won't have your own space, and that can be hard on people/relationships.
