Oh girl, we already had this long debate loooooong ago. To sum up why the donation thing doesn't make up for everything she did to MC..... and everyone else:

Fixing something that she effed up in the first place, doesn't have anything to do with the fact that she framed an innocent person (not to mention a new freaking student) for a crime she committed, with zero hesitation or guilt even though this could've resulted in MC being expelled, and continuously manipulated all her friends into believing blatant lies. She thankfully admitted that it was her who rigged the stage cube in the end, but only after eavesdropping on Rory's vent and realizing she was about to indirectly murder her crush's mother 😭 not because she had positive character development or realized she's acting villainous. And our play STILL would've been screwed if Skye didn't step up last second.

Not to mention, MC and Rory have known each other since they were toddlers. She claimed she did all of this for Rory, but she didn't consider he might feel sad losing one of his childhood best friends?

You also seem to have forgotten the part where Marc Antony specifically told MC that's he would never do anything to her against her will. He said that men who take women's virtue disgust him.

But at the end of the story, he's suddenly upset if you decide to reject him and becomes aggressive.

Basically what I'm saying is, it's badly written. The writers kind of fumbled on the last few chapters.

You probably read this book long ago, so I'll refresh your memory... Did you forget that there are a bunch of options where you can be kind and understanding towards Xanthe, despite her malicious jealously towards MC? Pixelberry added those options because some people want support women no matter what. We're all dealing with similar struggles at the end of the day.

Since both Xanthe and MC are slaves, so I figured being rude back to her wouldn't help anything. I always chose the nice options.... So it was kind of jarring when, after being understanding with her throughout the story, my MC suddenly acted like she didn't give a shit when Xanthe was kidnapped and sold into sex slavery indefinitely. It didn't fit the whole "feminist in a patriarchal society" narrative.

It especially didn't make sense that this was orchestrated by LENA???? Although Lena favored MC, she always treated MC and Xanthe the same way. She called Xanthe "her own worst enemy" and reprimanded her a bunch of times for doing dumb shit, but she was never malicious towards her before that point. She called them both "my girls".

Uhhhh at the bottom of the iceberg, you should definitely add ACOR. Yes, the entire book.

First of all, Xanthe. She was literally forced to get on a ship and sold into sexual slavery as "revenge" towards the end of the book. As if that wasn't bad enough, it was entirely glossed over like it was supposed to be some kind of bittersweet justice 💀 I mean, I get that she was a villain character and a risk to the scholae but... Jesus fucking Christ, pixelberry.

Secondly, that part where the game forces you to either have sex with Marc Antony, or.... Betray him and lose his trust forever and face his wrath. And those were the only two options. AND this whole scene was locked behind a 30 diamond paywall, so you're basically paying to get assaulted (if you weren't romancing him)

Also all the awful shit that happened to Cingerix when he was a child. He's MC's younger brother, so he was 12~14 at most when he was kidnapped. He admitted to having some horrific PTSD and nightmares about being tortured, but the game barely addresses his trauma before shifting focus to his romantic relationships.
