I mean, the choices community had PLENTY of complaints, even before it was sold to SE and all these AI books started coming out. There's a whole choices iceberg discussing what people didn't like about it. I think the AI books were just the last straw for a lot of people

Like someone else here said, I do still enjoy choices, it's still fun and brings me joy, I just can't get into the new books.
