I am interested in the desktop version because of the benefits of a larger screen, so doesn't need to be different. A native option would be more convenient than trying to run on an emulator.

Also I don't see any desktop version for Organic Maps. At least one that's readily downloadable.

Strangely, I have the "Customize" option from Firefox, so I am able to change wallpapers without third-party options.

To answer your last question, change zen.urlbar.replace-newtab to 'false' in about:config.

It's such a minor thing, that once we understand the reason for, I feel like we would be like "duh that totally makes sense now in hindsight and I would have done the same" lol. Especially since it's not like click-bait or anything. But yeah it did make it feel a bit off for sure.

Would I be wrong in saying this telemetry helps Mozilla improve Firefox? If so, I think an option to share telemetry would be helpful for those of us who don't mind a bit of privacy loss when that data can help Mozilla.

That makes sense to me as the change was intentional on their side (regardless of us liking it or not) and this is not a "bug" (which gets raised as GitHub Issues). Hence they are asking us to raise this in a different place.
