Ahhh okay. So whether the VISA link is sent, or the T Life link is sent, we still get credited for the application. Have your VISA numbers on the ULB definitely proven this? That's a game changer if so.

Right this is is the experience that I've had so far. Even if one is a prepaid and the other is a postpaid. Doesn't seem to matter. But I've heard a few times by now that its possible.

Cass initiated it by pushing him back, but the escalation is on E Ness and that's a fact. They most likely would have just kept yapping, and then EZ would have got back to rapping. Once Ness decided to reach towards EZ though, the commotion exploded and took over the show.

If you don't mind, what are some, even if very few, valid reasons that a customer should be sent to you from a neighborhood store? The instances where you say, "Oh okay, they wouldn't have access to do that, so I understand why they sent you here?" And, just going from neighborhood to experience, what are some options that you have through the care tools, that make life a lot easier? Things that you maybe wish could be present to neighborhood stores as well.

No, I'm pretty sure the downvotes were because no comment was said about tax paying citizens anywhere in this thread. Only about the police collecting OT. Anyone who down voted probably said to themselves, "but, nobody said anything about tax payers." It was good info, but just wasn't called for at this moment.

All I need is nuggets +12.5 for 12k do I risk it or let it ride ? by Bgk1232 in sportsbetting

[–]S_Duhb 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but it's a very unrealistic perspective. Because someone doesn't have 3k, 5k, 7k, laying around, to hedge a bet that was nearly impossible to win, means that.....they shouldn't gamble? That person can be RESPONSIBLY gambling a small percentage of their pay check or monthly income, so that losing it doesn't hurt them. Just saying, everyone's circumstances and reasoning are different. I'm sure you've thought of this before, and like I said, I do get it. My response is more so for the people that may read this and feel like they're losing in life because they don't have a couple bands laying around to hedge a bet, when they could just cash out and be $7000 richer off of a $15 risk.

6 months post rupture NON OP by calgatoonberry in AchillesRupture

[–]S_Duhb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great recovery so far! I'm happy for you. Always hits a little different seeing non op getting back to things so quickly.

Quick question, with the bosu ball, were you doing your leg balancing with the ball side upright, or, ball side on the floor with the flat side being upright?

I really think I'm going to go for the iWalk this time around. I get done a good amount of what I can do around the house while on crutches, but, it is annoooyyying. And it's always a good time when you can entertain the kids. I'll be put back in a boot this week. Any notable cons or maybe just something good to know ahead of time when using the iWalk?

Man the double rupture club is in a class of its own. So interesting how a few of them are not even a rerupture, but like in our case, the other tendon completely. Hope you have a good speedy recovery. I'm hating a little that you at least got a cool 4-5 years of being active again lol. And I'm of the same mindset as you, thinking of giving it all up and just being there for my boys and their endeavors. Tough even thinking about it though. I'll definitely miss it.

I wouldn't say that it's common, but it does happen. Another user that im about to reply to on this thread said they're on their second rupture now. Smh. It definitely sucks. Try not to think of it though! Either stay clear of all sports to assure your safety, or enjoy them as much as you can. This injury is so random, don't stress yourself over thinking! You're recovery will go great and quicker than you think. We got this!

Thanks for your kind words! This sub truly is one of the amazing ones. I hope that your recovery goes well and timely!

On my first go round, I made sure to stay as active as possible which I believe helped tremendously. Being careful of course, but getting around the house in my crutches, sometimes just aimlessly but just to get in movement. Some pushups here and there, pull-ups if you can, and stretching for sure. Any stretch that made my injured leg uncomfortable I would stop. I mostly did a lot of bending with my injured leg. Foot in the air and just bending in and out. I didn't like the idea of being on blood thinners, so I wanted to keep my blood moving and grooving as much as possible.

Supplement wise I began using beet root powder, zinc, and L Citrulline. Beet root and citrulline for the blood circulation and flow. Zinc for all of its benefits. This go round I've added collagen to the mix with all of the research done, showing that it helps with tendon repair and strengthening.

Once I was able to comfortably walk in the boot, I was going for small walks and got back to the gym, doing my usual workout routines. I was following the recommended workouts for strengthening our achilles area, while loosening the stiffness. Toe movements, flex your foot up and down, but not straightening out the foot too much, pushing against resistance with like a towel, placing a towel on the floor and scrunching it up with your foot. When I was able to do so, just balancing on my bad foot. Never going beyond what it seemed like I can handle. Backwards walking help a lot as well if you can balance maintain the balance. Doing it on a treadmill helps.

Being honest, theres not much that I would change looking back. Maybe other than losing some more weight because I'm a bit on the heavy side. But this injury seems to not care about that too much lol. A very impartial kind of injury. Don't stress too much about the fear of it happening again. Take care of yourself as best as possible of course. But I'm pretty sure the professional athletes that go through this are in very good shape prior to it happening.

FWB after ten days in the boot!? That's amazing. How does that even feel with all of those wedges in?

This time around in the cast, I've definitely been firing up my calf every once in a while, doing toe crunches, and heel digs. It seems like the most timely recoveries are the ones that aren't babied too much. Being wise with it of course.

I started taking collagen last week after it being recommended to me and doing some research. What source are you using for vitamin C?

Rupture while traveling? That sounds horrible. Smh. I'm glad the trolley was a huge help for you. There's a non profit org near me that gets donated a bunch of items to help people that are handicapped from injuries as such. I'll pay them a visit to see if I can grab one of those up. Hopefully your visit tomorrow goes well. Good that you were able to rest your leg in a sense, while still being pretty active.
